The advertising image is deceptive, as the bar is quite small. The cost through Amazon for the three bars, including tax and shipping, was almost $40 for 12.75 ounces of soap. Although the advertised cost per ounce is $2.23, the actual cost per ounce is $40/12.75, which is $3.14, with shipping and tax. The cord, which can be secured to a grab bar, does keep the soap from falling on the shower floor. So, for that reason, the cost is mitigated. The soap lathers well, and has the same scent as a regular bar of Irish Spring. With some polypropylene cord and and a drill, The same thing could be made for about $0.25/Oz.

i was expecting a rope to place around the neck, but found when the product arrived that the rope is meant to be placed in a convenient place within the shower so it's easy to use. love the traditional scent of Irish Spring that i was expecting,

Having had a hip replacement surgery, showering has been a challenge. I felt secure with regular soap bars, but as soon as I dropped one for the first time, I realized I needed a soap-on-a-rope. Back in the 60s these were practically a novelty item scented with men’s cologne fragrances, and they still exist today. Irish Spring was the only deodorant soap-on-a-rope and for this lady it’s been a godsend. It came in a set of three and was beautifully packaged. The rope is long enough to be secured on a support bar, and the rope itself is anchored securely in the soap. I definitely recommend and will purchase again.

Glad to find this soap on a rope to help with hands that can’t always grip well.Also wanted Irish spring , but the scent is not as refreshing as the store bought bar.Acceptable though.Price is quite high but please bring it back in stock. There is no replacement for this long rope and neutral scent.

My brother asked for soap on a rope that he could take with him to the gym. He liked it and especially because he didn't have to put it down on anything except his soap container when he was through showering.

I was disappointed in that it didn't smell as good as regular Irish Spring soap. But I will continue to use it and buy it due to my age. Hard to bend over for an old lady!

Needed to start taking showers because of back operation and went looking for soap on a rope that I remembered from years ago. Bought plenty of them and plan on taking on travel trips, too. Keep making them!
