This product truly works for KP. I've had keratosis pilaris on my upper arms for as long as I can remember, as did my mother. I didn't know the name for it until I went for a routine skin check at my dermatologist years ago. It wasn't very noticeable then, so I never focused on getting rid of it. Last summer it really became noticeable for the first time after an allergic reaction to a lotion. The reaction cleared up, but since then my KP bumps have been very noticeable and I've avoided wearing short sleeves. I tried the Gold Bond Bumpy skin therapy and that seemed to just make it worse. I then tried Amlactin and that helped, but I still didn't like how my arms looked so I kept searching and found out that Urea cream helps dissolve the excess keratin build up on the skin. This is what I've been doing for nearly 2 weeks:I put the Amlactin on after my shower or right before bed, and I also rub in the Topix Urea 40 Cream --2x a day. I noticed an improvement in about 3 days after using the Urix cream-- nothing I've tried has worked as quickly or as effectively!! About 2 weeks later, my left arm is nearly smooth and my right arm (worse KP arm for some reason) is less bumpy and much improved. My arms haven't looked this smooth in a year! I feel pretty confident that my arms will clear up and become smoother/back to normal with continued regular use of the Urea cream.FYI: I have sensitive skin as well and sometimes have an allergic reaction to lotions, soaps, perfumes, etc. I think that is one reason the KP worsened so I'm also using only sensitive skin products on my arms. My favorites are the Cetaphil Restorative calming body wash and lotion.

I've suffered with feet sooooo dry for so many years that I developed deep cuts under the big toes, side of the big toes, heel, you name it. I'd file my feet, but that would expose the cuts even more so they would hurt more. I thought there was no cure until I read that the key to soft feet is urea.When i got this cream, for about 3 straight weeks, I'd put this cream on my feet at night with socks, then keep them aired during the day. I started noticing the dry skin peeling so I kept it up. Once a week I'd let my feet dry after I shower and filed off the top layer. Now for the first time in my adult life, I HAVE NO MORE CRACKS! I'm so in love with this product and would give it 10 stars if I could.

I had a bout of impetigo around my nose. The infection was cured by a ZPak and a week of Mupirocin topical application but scarring and redness remains. I researched a bit and read that topical Urea would help heal the scarring and redness. Twice daily applications for a week has smoothed the scarring and started lightening the redness. This light gel cream doesn't irritate or burn. I'm very pleased and will keep up with the treatment. It's a very hefty sized tube and will try it on my feet, as its supposed to heal rough skin, too.

Great stuff here. I use it on my feet, and they stay baby soft. The trick is to use it every night and then put on a pair of socks. Sleep in them. I have very dry skin and especially the nails and cuticles and this product works well. First I treat my feet to a soothing soak and pumice away the hardened skin, and then use this. You only need a tiny bit, the size of a dime. Its glorious feeling for sure. Does not stay greasy feeling either. Love it.

This is almost the same product that my podiatrist prescribed for my daughter when she was a competitive figure skater,spending 20-25 hours a week in leather ice skates. Her feet were often cracked and rough. The urea cream really helps heal the cracks and smooth the rough edges. I use it now just to help smooth the callouses of a busy life. It works better than a pumice stone or foot file. I apply it liberally at night, put on white socks and in the morning my heels are softer smoother and not nearly as dry. Be sure to wash your hands when you are done applying the cream. This formula is a bit thin - more like a lotion than a cream. If it came in a thicker product I would give it 5 stars.

Product is excellent for repair of dried and cracked feet and heels. Also good for cracked and dried out fingers but it does damage to fingernails if used with gloves overnight. Personally I will suffer some nail damage for the repair and relief I can get for my cracked fingers. I have used dermatologist prescribed $480 per 4 oz ointments without results and this $30 or so 8 oz lotion is hands down the real cure for me. I have used for several years and plan to continue using this miracle lotion.

I was directed to this product through a Google search after being prescribed a 40% Urea cream that came out to 192$ WITH my insurance co-pay for a far smaller quantity of product. This has the exact same active ingredient as prescribed by my doctor, but for a mere fraction of the price. The area I applied it to has a noticeable difference as far as moisture goes. I would highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to avoid absurd pricing for the prescription grade product.

Works great and a little goes a long way so will last and be affordable by 'dose'. This is thinner than normal lotion so use sparingly - a little spreads very nicely. I have seen better improvement than other foot creams (with or without Urea) but this, like those, requires consistent attention to your feet and consistent use to get and then maintain the desired results. By heredity I have more callous on my feet than some and this is doing a good job to soften and reduce that buildup.
