サクラフィルム（コニカフィルムの昔のネーム）は、パトローネの中のスプロール突起が有る方をデスクの上に叩きつけると簡単に開けられたけど、フジフィルムのパトローネは、無理だけど、このオープナーならば、フジもコダックもアルファ、イルホードも開けられた！良い工具ですよ！

Well its a 35mm film opener
It does what it is supposed to do. I don't have any complains.

Essential for home film developers
Most film cameras auto-wind the film back into the cassette, so you need one of these to open the cassette inn the dark. This works very well even when you cannot see what you are doing. Its a quality product, well made and won't bend. Easy to use but I'd recommend trying it out in daylight with an old 35mm cartridge first.
