No nonsense, just good fabric. This is good for jeans, jackets, I'm going to make overalls. Not quite as heavy as my Carhartt work britches, but nice weight for casual wear. Deep indigo color, good selvedge, no funky smells, and 3 yards comes as one 3 yard piece, full selvedge width. All one could ask for.

I have finally found a denim fabric online that is good and sturdy. It is the perfect thickness to sew straps for my handmade denim tote bags....not too thick and not too thin. I did have to run it through a couple of wash cycles to remove excess dye, but I always wash all my fabric before sewing with it. I was hesitant to order at first because one reviewer mentioned a bad odor, but I noticed no odor at all and I have purchased this denim fabric twice (so far) from this seller. I also want to mention that I received both orders quickly and it was packaged professionally. In a couple of days I will be ordering more of it!

I want to start with that I really do like this fabric. I made jeans out it it and the color and feel of the fabric is true to what the site says. It is a nice heavy weight fabric but still makes great jeans. However, there is a bit of stretch to this fabric which tells me there is no way it is 100% cotton. It must have a small bit of elastic in the fabric. I wanted to avoid elastic because it tends to warp when put in the dryer. This fabric might not have enough elastic to do that. Only time will tell.

Very heavy weight. Just what I was looking for. Received it very quickly.

I was excited when this fabric arrived; until the smell caught up to my nose. There is some awful chemical in this denim that is offing a horrible chemical smell -- I have machine washed it twice and soaked it in a bathtub of cold water and baking soda. But the smell persists. I haven't figured out if I'm going to be able to sew with it -- and I am really disappointed.If it smells, I would return IMMEDIATELY!
