Where can I get a longer power cord or how can I run power to the speakers in a location without an outlet near?

buy some electrical wiring, and make it yourself.  easy peasy.  I had to extend mine about 20 feet.  I cut off the power cord, took it to the hardware store, matched the wire gauge, purchased AC splice device, made the splice,  used heat shrink on each wire junction, then larger heat shrink for the completed splices, then coated with silicon, and wrapped in GOOD quality electricians tape.  HINT,  You can not buy GOOD quality electricians tape at the wally world or the dollar general.  If you ain't gonna make the time and effort to do it well, just stop and don't do it at all.  BUT, it can be done.  GOOD LUCK

Question 2

What do i need to purchase to use the bluetooth? not sure what "bluetooth compatible" means. i don't see any bluetooth switch.

If you have a phone, tablet, or MP3 player with Bluetooth, you can connect your device to the Pyle speakers. After you plug the Pyle speakers with the AC power cord, the device will give you a Bluetooth “chime” indicating that it is ready for paring. Then on you device settings you should find Pyle Audio. The first time you set up your speakers it will ask for a four digit code. That code is in your printed instructions. Enter the code on your device and viola you are connect to the speakers. You can then use any music streaming service or music that is downloaded on your device to play over the Pyle speakers.

Question 3

How can i control the volume on these?  I connected them through an amplifier and still can't control volume... one day they're fine, the next not

If you are using Bluetooth then you control the volume with the device. If you are using a tv Bluetooth there is a setting on your tv under Bluetooth device where you can control it the bad news is that will be a one time adjustment meaning you will have to do the same in order to adjust it again.

Low volume. the volume is not very loud even when i turn it all the way up using pandora. i hooked it up and listened to it in my living room. help!

I have mine in my salon and run pandora off my laptop. Volume is adjusted from laptop and is VERY loud. When I use my phone volume only goes to a certain volume,  not that loud. Try from a different device.
