Simple, 5 Watt, 33 mile range test was absolutely Perfect! 465/567 SWR was 1.00 to 1.02
Super easy to put together. I have a personal repeater 33 miles away, 2,180' elevation and was getting S-7 a great signal from a Diamond X-30A Vertical. Now with this Yagi I am getting a S-9+60 FULL Quieting.. Cannot get any higher/clearer. AMAZING. The SWR was 1.00 and 1.02 at 465/467 GMRS and I simply put the ADJUSTING slider to the far end. 33% Better than the vertical - Keeping in mind that any Yagi will FOCUS (propagate). 50-60 degree's in one direction rather than Vertical's 360. The Below Video; Was a 5 Watt - 33 mile range test. without effort. You can hear my 2,180' elevation personal (TREE) repeater-repeat my voice back, and I'm inside my home. this antenna is simple/effective & cost effective.

Good
This is a good antenna, not great. It works for around town but not much more. I would buy again because I think the price is good for what you get.

Didnโt work for me but seems built well
Seems built ok. I used a nano VNA to set the SWR for GMRS band. Unfortunately I couldnโt hit repeaters within 10 miles even with this yagi. So I canโt confirm it works well. It was almost picking up repeaters from the backside better than the front so who knows? I threw it in the trash.

Works quite well
I'm pleased with the performance of this antenna as far as what I need it for. I have no idea of how well it performs overall, but I'm guessing it does OK.

This antenna is NOT DIRECTIONAl and has NO REJECTION.
This beam works ok for me but I never have to turn it on my rotor because it transmits and receives in all directions which is not what a beam is supposed to do.

Tuned it to 467.000 and does everything it should do!

This would be great if it didn't arrive with a critical part stripped
The connector from the antenna to the sl16 wiring is a very thin piece of flat bar with tiny set screws for conduction. This arrived with one end stripped, making it unserviceable. Please send a replacement, or I will send it back

Easy Tuning and Assembly
Tuning was a snap using the attached Gamma Match. VSWR less than 1.20 over the entire 70 cm band. I did rivet the bracket to the boom for a sturdier attachment to the mast via the U-Bolt. One note to be aware of is that the included U-Bolt is not 30-40mm as stated. The maximum mast diameter the U-Bolt can accommodate is 35mm (1.375" not 1.50")
