911-380 Vapor Canister Compatible with Select Ford/Lincoln Models

I was having a problem filling my gas tank. I have a Ford E250 van. I could pump only a little at a time and the pump would stop. I did some research and watched some YouTube videos. Everything pointed to this as the problem. The EVAP canister. My van has 190k on it, so nothing was a surprise. This item is set in a super heavy duty bracket in the spare tire location. You have to remove the spare to gain access. Don't understand why the bracket is so HD. I mention that because it made it harder to replace. Took me a few hours. Got the new one installed, works great, now I can fill the tank without it shutting off every few seconds. Got to the point where I would get only about $15 gas at a time, due to it shutting off so much. Now it's like born again. No problems, this item solved the problem. I can fill the tank no problem.

This solved the issue of not being able to fill tank with fuel. (The pump would stop as if the tank was already full.) Of course you can't go wrong with Dorman. Immediately fixed problem. The hardest part was getting the old one down because the four T40 bolts were seized solid.

Works great at a large discount compared to my auto parts store. It does not come with clamps and fasteners however, this is listed in the description. Personally, I took the ones off of my old one and reuse them on the new one. Appears to be of good quality.

2015 F250 gas , was perfect, truck wasn't throwing codes but wouldn't take gas. Price was 200 bucks less then same Dorman part number in town. Took half an hour to put on with a pick, needle nose plyers and a 8mm socket. Excellent product. Shipped on time.

Fixes the problem if your canister clogs and you can't fill your Ford pickup gas tank. Do Not Top Off are important rules to follow.
