Does this work in 2004 dodge ram 1500 automatic tranny? That tranny took dexron iv. Thanks for the help!!

Dexron VI is reverse compatible with all previous versions of dexron. If the trans originally spec'd dex then dex VI would be appropriate. However I believe your dodge ram did not spec dexron but rather a Chrysler fluid called ATF +4.

Read the label one is atf-4 and the other one is dct for dsg transmission's which are dual clutch
