Markwort Knob Cuff Taper Grip

I like to hold my bat with just two fingers of each hand. I bat right handed, so my thumb and forefinger on my left hand wrap around this tapered grip. My right hand is similar, with thumb and forefinger wrapped around the handle and my other three fingers on top of my left hand.The result is to make my bat longer, a more powerful swing.Without this tapered grip, the knob would dig into the palm of my left hand. It also helps prevent the bat from slipping out of my hand when I follow through.

I've put one of these on my whole quiver of bats (10+). Makes gripping the bat more comfortable and keeps the knob from tearing into your palm (if you hold the bat down low that is). Not going to lie, getting it on the bat the first time was a bit challenging. You need to moisten it first with water, turn it inside out, slip the wider part over the handle and on to the bat and then peel it back down to the handle. I can do it pretty quickly now. Takes me like 1 minute. Just watch the youtube videos and you'll be fine.

Love this product and put it on all my bats.

To install, it's helpful to have an extra pair of hands. I got it half way on and my husband helped me stretch it out so that I could get the other half on there. It went on easily. I had trouble with it doing it myself.

I use the tapers to give all my bats the same grip @ the end of the bat. I drop my pinkie below the knob & the taper supports my ring finger well and gives the batting glove a non slippery surface without using grip spray or creams. Putting it on can be challenging. I turn the knob cuff inside out and heat it with hot water until flexible. I maneuver the bottom thicker side on 1st, stretching, tugging and rotating the cuff until it clears the knob. Slide it into position 1" or so above the knob and roll the thicker part down the outside to the knob in effect moving it inside out once again. Rotate to final position & let cool.

Really comfy . I used a sniper grip overtop. Fits perfect in my palm. Can't wait to smash some balls with it

These work great over top of the factory grips. However, I had re-gripped one bat with the Lizard Skin bat wrap (1.1mm) and the cuff will slide down the handle at times. Not the end of the world as you just need to slide it back up, but something to be aware of.

Put this thing on one of my bats to try out the feel of it. Love how it feels when I swing the bat. Hit my first home run in 3 years the first game I tried it. I get quality hits out of my swing again. Now it's on all my other bats.
