Damiano De Luca: A Second Chance Mafia Romance

Listened to this as part of the Dark Romance collection, not realising it was part of a series and the last in the series too. Thoroughly enjoyed this the audio, was a great listen with dual narrators.Damiano and Ren’s was romance which had been put on hold for 10 years and had been hidden by denial and necessity at the time. However others were working behind the scenes in their favour, they just didn’t know who.This time Damiano wasn’t going to let Ren go!I will definitely go back to the start and read the series as a whole and a lot of what happened in this will make more sense. It didn’t stop me from enjoying this book.

I loved this story and I loved this couple. Damiano and Renata were fantastic characters, both complex and both with a yearning, enduring sadness about them. This was a classy second-chance romance. It crackled with tension, frustration and lost love.It was about two people who were meant to be, but circumstances conspired against them. This book had a bit more to it than your classic second-chance story, with a mafia world as its backdrop, and this world shaping their story throughout.A definite must read for second-chance lovers.

It’s abit long winded but it gets there , lots of twists and turns in this book, sexy men and strong women

This book pleasingly surprised me, the author has a great style of writing building the characters with a good story line, at the same time finishing each chapter in an interesting way, won't give anything away as you must read this!

This book is about ignoring your head and following your heart. If these two had done that, they would not have wasted 10 years of their lives. A good read with a few shocks

The story intrigued me. It had lots of crazy characters knitted together so well that I found I could totally believe them. Pure escapism. This book has whetted my appetite for the rest of the books in the series.

I've now read all the books in the five syndicate series and love them all. Perfect escapism, really juicy plots and intense characters...thanks Parker and can't wait to read whatever you do next.

Leaves me wondering how dud he take over nothing on that, we read about the other mafia groups no story on them yet at the end tgry are all happy together. Renetas father dethroned nothing on that.Renaras story sjoikdnt have been included into this one then maybe more would have been put into how tge don overthrew h8s father. Unanswered questions.
