The best water proofing and leather softener that I have found , works well on my work boots

Exactly what a lot of old timers used back in colonial America. Does not darken leather. Quality that lasts one application for over a year. Leaves all leather softer.

I got this as a gift for my brother-in-law, and he says it is exactly what he wanted. He loves the way waterproofs his boots and says there isn’t anything better.

I used this to add waterproofing to a pair of leather hiking boots before hiking in the snow in the Colorado mountains. I applied a generous coat of the paste, rubbed it in, warmed my boots with a hair dryer and let them sit 24 hours. I repeated the process the next day for good measure (total of two coats). The oil really penetrated the boots and gave them a slightly darker but newer looking appearance. Most importantly, the oil worked - snow that built up on my boots and then later melted did not penetrate the inside of my boots. Fiebing's is based in Wisconsin and I also felt good about supporting a U.S. company. Highly recommended.

I use this product for my work boots and leather gloves. Sometimes on my wallet as well to prevent cracking. It’s very difficult, if not impossible to find mink past of this quality. It will darken your leather, but if it’s for work boots, or a baseball glove, you won’t care. It also works very well for breaking-in leather products.

Have not tested in water/snow, but it softens the leather. Conditions.
