Based upon animal creation stories from all over the African continent, TingaTingaTales brings to live tall tales of how your favorite animals came to be the way they are today. The show was visually inspired by the Tingtingaart of Tanzania, hence the name TingaTingaTales.

Good, but a little disappointing
My 3.5 year old son loves to watch Tinga Tinga Tales so I thought he would love this cd. The cd is just okay...it's a shame some of the more enjoyable songs from the show are not on the cd.

Tingatastic - best children's CD we have!
This is my favourite out of all my daughter's 20 or so children's music CD's, I even listen to it in the car when she's asleep! It does have sections of dialogue from the TV series (which might annoy some) but my 2 year old daughter likes these and tells me which animals are speaking. Quite a few of the tracks 'grow' on you with repeated listening, and you might even pick up a few words of Swahili! The tunes are really catchy and the harmonies from the 'birds' are lovely (although one of the monkeys really can't sing).

Fab!
It's so nice to have a kids cd which is actually musical! The tunes are catchy, sound quality is good. The songs are taken straight from the tv show so kids who watch Tinga Tinga will recognise them. A real hit with me and my 2 year old.

Lovely music, so different from your average children's music, both me and my 3 year old love it! Great catchy tunes and even a story on there. Brilliant!
