Seitenbacher Muesli, Gluten Free - Strawberry, 13.2 Ounce

Tasty and perfect for those who don’t tolerate oats, as there aren’t any. Nice mixture, don’t really miss them. Not many berries but it is the last item on the ingredient list, so you shouldn’t be expecting high volume!

If you know european müslis, they can sometimes be a bit bland and lacking flavor – not so with this one. Just tried it out and wish it was not so expensive because I would buy it all the time. Tastes great with yoghurt, your choice of milk or chocolate milk (which is what I like a lot). Super tasty!!

I really like Seitenbacher Musli because it provides healthy and tasty breakfast options. As I am also trying to eat gluten free, this is currently my favorite one. I appreciate that their products are natural grains, seeds and dried fruit mixtures and they don't add sugar.

I typically eat my museli with 2% milk if it's for breakfast, or dry if its for a snack. So if you are buying this looking for a typical muesli, it probably isn't for you. However, it makes a great additive to a typical muesli, as it's almost all fruit/nuts/seeds. For me this is closer to a trail mix than a cereal, the ingredients are of a good quality, and the flavor is natural and authentic. I mixed mine with some plain old fashioned rolled oats, and with a relatively neutral muesli, and it worked well in both cases. I've tried more than 15 muselis over the last year and a half, and while I don't typically end ordering Seitenbacher's offerings twice, I'm content to have at least tried them once. They put out some of the more interesting varieties of this kind of cereal.

Very nice cereal, has lots of dried fruit. Love that it's gluten free. I put it on yogurt or on top of lighter, plain cereal. Made it a monthly subscription!

10 Jan 2019 update: my original review below was premature. I opened the package, poured a bowl and it tasted so good I had to run to my computer and do a review, which I don't normally do. I have now finished the package. Sadly, there was one sliver of strawberry in the entire package, and I got that on the first bowl full, which made it taste great. I think the reason is that freeze dried strawberries are extremely light and since the sliver was so large it floated to the top during its journey from Germany. What makes me mad and makes me want to give a poor review is because I hate false advertising. The package clearly says STRAWBERRY as part of the name, with a picture of big juicy strawberries. What's even worse is STRAWBERRY is the only ingredient mentioned in the name, yet it is basically not in the package. Some may say that I got an odd batch but my response is ... the technology has existed for a long time to dole out ingredients into a package. Apparently strawberries are expensive and they turned the dial all the way down on the strawberry machine, just like some companies do with the raisin machine for oatmeal raisin cookies, or the blueberry machine for blueberry muffins, and so on. So, to conclude, this muesli is nothing special without the strawberries, and since it basically doesn't have any strawberries, I recommend passing on this one, as I will in the future. At first glance I was bummed by the lack of big juicy strawberries like in the picture, but I can taste some strawberry action so that makes up for the appearance.

Bought because since in on a modified paleo diet i wanted to have somethine that i can eat with my plant milk and i found this, i love love it. its so crunchy and tasty i could actually eat the entire bag but im limiting myself to a cup at a time. I am now a subscriber for a monthly delivery i might even increase it to 2 or 3. yum.
