Catches fish
I'm not the best fisherman but this thing catches fish, I listened to the other reviews and went slow on the retrieve and got 3 bass and 4 pickerel on this I will be buying the other colors

Not quite a whopper plopper but worth a spot in your tackle box
I bought this lure hoping it would be a less expensive whopper plopper but it's something a little different. I would call it a prop plug. First of all it casts like a dream. I can throw it into tight spots between tree branches and under tree limbs close to the water surface. I don't have the confidence or the ability to do that with the whopper plopper. Once you cast it you have a few options. You can steady retrieve it like a whopper plopper only at a much slower speed. If you retrieve too fast you don't get the desired effect and the lure looks and acts as if you are snagged on a leaf. You want to just create a wake with the lure. If you want to fish it more like a plug then after casting you just twitch the rod and drag the lure under the water and let the props take care of the rest. I've fished if for a few hours and had success catching pickerel so far. Nice little lure.

Works great
I have fished the Nipididee lure shown for many years with great success, recently I began to search for a backup lure to replace it if I ever loose it, since it can only be found on the vintage market now. I settled on this Crazy Shad in the Bluegill pattern and have fished it a bit. I think it just as good as my old trusty Nipididee.

BEST topwater lure ever made!
I've used these 40+ years for bass. Best topwater lure I've ever used! The last one I used had all the chrome color worn off and it had teeth marks all over it and still worked until I lost it.Glad Amazon sells them!Never used any other color...
