Not the best quality or sturdiness, however it worked perfect for my first winter blow out of sprinkler system and hoses. They leaked but not enough to affect the function. They work great for a once a year use.

So I recently used it. Works as described. I use it for extraction connected to my Vacmaster 5 gallon 5.5HP.It's a beast. Anyway. I noticed a small leak. Unfortunately Teflon tape will not fix issue due to the fact that its in a location where cannnot be adjusted. Maybe weld it more. Other than that it works fine. I would recommend if the seller can send me a new one.Works great.

Makes job much easier

I hooked up a hose bib connection to my sprinkler line, and then used these adapters to hook it up to my compressor. Now I no longer need to call the sprinkler man to blow them out. There are two drawl backs. The first is that you will need to take them apart and reassemble with Teflon. The second is that the female fitting is in a fixed position and will not spin independently like a regular hose fitting. So if lining up your shut off valve is really important to you, it's not going to happen unless you are A.) Very lucky, B.) Leaving it loose, C.) Overtightening, or D.) God's gift to plumbing.

I purchased this adapter for blowing out the water lines in a seasonal property. It seems well built for the price, however, there was no sealant on any of the threads of the unit I received. It leaked air from every joint until I added Teflon tape. For this I removed 1 star, otherwise it now works great.

Adapter leaked air so you need to wrap teflon tape around threads and tighten. Then its ok.

Worked well but required sealing both component threads with plumbers tape, not a big deal.
