Superb Product for the fastest mesh from Netgear. Good coverage and good features. Value for money 5⭐️

Recently upgraded my internet speed to 800Mbps. My old wireless system consisted of a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 paired with the Nighthawk AC1200 range extender. My speed tests came in at 89 to 75Mbps download and upload at 89 to 76Mbps at the extender. I placed the Orbi router and satellite in exactly the same position as the old gear. Download speed is now 360 to 650Mbps depending on time of day and the top speed reached was 900Mbps at 5am on the satellite end. Upload is a steady 190 all day long. Those speeds hold true for the upper storey of my 5 bedroom villa, and there are no dead spots. Yes, the Orbi 852 system is expensive, but I got mine at a 30% discount as the new Orbi wifi 6e (RBKE) has come out. So looks for deals. Setup speedy and easy and no problems so far. Techies do complain that the Orbi is not customizable enough for them. I have configured many a router, but I am quite happy with the Orbi’s hands off approach as will most consumers. I subtract one star for the high price as there are more affordable and customizable systems available. But according to all the reviews I read, the Orbi wins on range, speed, ease of use and updates are mostly bug free thanks to the less customizable software. Simple is good.

It's rated for 400 m2 house, but the main unit and one satellite are barely able to cover two rooms. If you live in a reinforced concrete building, the signal will not go through the walls. The GUI is only for basic settings, I could not setup static routing. Definitely not worth the price.

The advertized coverage is smaller but does the job. Throughput decreases as well. Perhaps it depends on the nature of construction: drywall and wooden walls vs. concrete and bricks. Overall, good.

Es un producto muy caro, eso lo sé. Al menos en comparación con otros routers, también buenos, que se ofrecen por ahí...... Pero eso sí, lo vale. Lo he intentando con otros router tipo mesh, y seguía con los mismos problemas de cobertura en casa. Desde que lo tengo, se acabaron todos mis problemas de cobertura y sin necesidad de instalaciones complejas, o de ayudarse con otros sistemas como un plc o similares. No hace falta. Lo enchufas y te olvidas. Ahora puedo ver una serie, o mantener una videoconferencia mientras me desplazo por la casa sin preocupaciones. No hay puntos negros. Máxima velocidad en todas las habitaciones, copias de archivos grandes entre dispositivos a toda velocidad. Incluso más velocidad de la que me ofrece el propio proveedor de internet, en cualquier punto de la casa. Es caro, mucho más caro de lo que pensaba gastarme, pero cumple con creces. Gratamente sorprendido. 100% recomendable.

I switched from Asus Zenwifi to this Netgear set. All my problems were over. No more outages, no more disconnects on the backhaul. You can’t adjust as many parameters as with Asus, but who cares. Relax and forget that it’s there. A very happy customer.

Un investissement qui a transformé mon expérience Internet dans un vieux bâtiment avec des murs épais (entre le RDC et la cave voûtée). Fini les zones mortes et les connexions instables ! Ce système mesh haut de gamme offre une couverture Wi-Fi impressionnante et des performances exceptionnelles. Contrairement à ce que l'on pourrait penser d'un système aussi sophistiqué, l'installation a été d'une simplicité remarquable. L'application Orbi guide l'utilisateur pas à pas, et en moins de 15 minutes, tout était opérationnel. La synchronisation entre le routeur principal et les satellites se fait automatiquement. Le design blanc et épuré des modules Orbi s'intègre parfaitement dans n'importe quel intérieur. Malgré leur puissance, les appareils sont relativement compacts et peuvent être placés discrètement sur une étagère. La sécurité n'a pas été négligée avec l'intégration de NETGEAR Armor qui protège tous les appareils connectés contre les menaces en ligne. Le Netgear Orbi 850 représente certes un investissement conséquent, mais après l'avoir utilisé, je considère qu'il s'agit d'un achat pleinement justifié pour quiconque recherche une solution Wi-Fi performante, fiable et pérenne. La couverture impeccable, la vitesse impressionnante et la facilité d'utilisation en font un produit d'exception qui a véritablement révolutionné mon réseau sans-fil.

Absolutes top Produkt zu einem "top" Preis. Natürlich muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, ob Wifi 6 und der kommende ax Standard ihm dieses Geld wert sind....... Ich konnte jedenfalls nicht widerstehen und das "Teil" ist echt der Hammer. Der ORBI RBK50 war ja schon klasse, aber mit über 30 WLAN Clients im Netz einschließlich IoT's etwas überlastet. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut top, mega wertig, weniger Plastik als der RBK50 und die Leistung ist sagenhaft schnell. Ich habe bei meinem ISP einen Anschluss von 200/50 und diese Leistung wird nun in wirklich jeder Ecke von 140 qm² auf einer Ebene bereitgestellt. Das IPhone 11 ProMax mit ax Wifi glüht richtig, besonders Streaming und die NestCams sind richtig schnell geworden, überhaupt keine lags mehr. Die Einrichtung war etwas tricky, da direkt geupdatet wurde und der Satellite auf der alten Firmware stehen blieb und dadurch alles einmal komplett zurückgesetzt werden musste. In der ORBI App unter IOS fehlen ab und zu die Clients, war beim RBK50 aber auch schon so. Fazit: Mega top WLAN, zukunftssicher durch ax Standard, wertiger (Alu Chassis), leider heftiger Preis. Kaufempfehlung!
