Knowing the modern corner-cutting tricks of the commercial world, TVs are bound to have poor audio, maybe even tinny sounding sometimes. If you just need at extra experience, this soundbar is a no brainer especially for lower-priced large flat screen TVs. It is well-priced, has various input (ARC HDMI, Optical, Bluetooth, etc.) and doesn't take up much extra space of your TV bench. At home I have it underneath my HD TV and I turn off the TV's audio entirely just relying on the soundbar to deliver; and it delivers really well. I have no qualms with Sony's audio quality, they have been tried and true for any of their products. There is a faux leather feel on the top of the soundbar making it look and feel very premium. It comes with a remote control to adjust the soundbar from a distance. It's a very Sony product and they don't get much wrong. Now, onto the downsides. Very nitpicky stuff but I have to say the I/O ports are hard to reach especially with the soundbar upright and if the soundbar is very close to the wall where you have your TV (normally). I had to turn it over just to reach the I/O ports which are deep too. But I can understand this as it's a measure for cosmetics. Also, the remote control sensitivity is not great. If you're not directly pointing at the receiver sometimes it doesn't register the button you press. Another gripe is that if USB audio was available, it would've been amazing but for it's price I can let that go.

For its price, this is 1 of the best soundbars you can get to compensate for your TV speakers, even thou it's a 2.0 the Bass isn't bad, you can use it as a outdoor speaker as well for those family brai events, you won't be disappointed. The best budget soundbar, period!!!

I purchased the Sony HT-ST100F soundbar and it stopped working within just 4 months of purchase. This clearly indicates that the unit I received was defective from the seller’s side. What’s more frustrating is the complete lack of after-sales support. The seller did not provide any repair center address, service contact, or proper guidance for warranty support. Despite multiple attempts, there was no solution offered—neither repair nor replacement. Sony is a reputed brand, but this experience has been extremely disappointing due to poor quality control and zero customer support from the seller. I would not recommend buying this product from this seller, unless they improve their after-sales service and take responsibility for defective items.

I've been using it for a week now. Bought it to connect it to my old TV through a Bluetooth transmitter. The sound is really nice and clear as long as there is no obstruction between the soundbar and Bluetooth transmitter, since even a thin curtain can cause disruption and sound will not be clear. I like the fact that it can be hanged to the wall, as this is useful when kids are around.

The soundbar is of expected quality from Sony. You can mostly hear this when playing music. Streaming services do not have the same clarity, unfortunately. The installation is easy, but you MUST use HDMI-Arc or HMDI+optical. (No other configuration will work!) Bluetooth is only for connecting phone/tablet/etc, and USB is only for pendrives.

We can finally watch Netflix without subtitles.... I'm not the type of person to write reviews, but I can honestly recommend this soundbar to anyone that requires bettter sound than the built in tv speakers. Very easy to install and use. Worth every penny

Probably the worst purchase I’ve ever made, all was good until it suddenly stopped working not turning on you can’t reset it you can’t do anything it’s just blank dead not worth the money not the so called Sony standard and just to make things worse I can’t return it because the return window was closed one month after the purchase, pathetic customer service and it just terrible to be honest
