how thick are the soles?

They are pretty thick in comparison to "Vibram" or other functional toe shoes that are out on the market. You get way more support.

I wear a size 46eu, or 30cm. what size do you recommend?

I am a size 12 (45 EU) and the size 12 fits me perfectly. For 46 EU, I'd go with the size12-1/2 - these shoes are very flexible and roomy and expand a bit over time. These are great shoes, but the soles don't last long on cement and are a bit thin for sharp, rocky terrain. They are ideal for grass and smooth dirt trails. I use them for outdoor volleyball and golf.
