WEMA USA Fuel/Water Level Sensor - SAE 5 hole

Very well made, has stainless steel stem and flange. Came with five #10-24 flanged stn. stl. machine screws (combined hex and Philips drive) with a full gasket and with five gasketed washers. I purchased the 5.5" stem length. Using an ohm meter I measured 9 changes/steps in the output as I slid the float down the stem top to bottom. My dash gauge now reads in about 1/8" increments/steps from full to empty. I replaced my one year old swing arm fuel sending unit with this unit. I could not depend on the reading of the swing arm sending unit in my boat's 6" deep welded aluminum fuel tank. I am very satisfied with this new sending unit.

I needed a replacement sending unit for my garden tractor (1987 Simplicity Sunstar 20HP) and since Simplicity doesn't make the OEM replacement part anymore, my only option was the aftermarket. Originally, I was going to get a cheap univeral float arm unit from Moeller, then I came across a YouTube video from a guy who went by the name of "1D10CRACY" who was replacing a bad unit in a boat, and recommended this unit as a good replacement for the old float type units. After some custom wiring to the factory harness of the tractor, I turned the key and was happy to see I was getting an accurate reading! Just make sure you order one that's either 1/2" shorter than the depth of your tank if you have a metal tank, or 1" shorter for a plastic one.
