Switched from all Kicker to all CT Sounds!
I have been a long time Kicker fan. Running their amps, speakers and subs due to listening to a lot of rock and metal. I decided to test out one of these ct sounds 8" subs and it hit pretty well though I did not have enough rms in the amp to feed the full 800 watts to this sub so I decided to upgrade my amp. I upgraded to test the ct sounds 1000.1 mono and this sub hit hard! Metal sounded amazing so I switched to some deep bass rap. I was very impressed at the diversity of this sub, so I decided to get 3 more meso 8" subs! I again upgraded my system to the ct sounds 2000.1. I purchased 2 of them. I am running 2 meso 8" subs per 2000.1 mono amp. I did have to do the big 3 upgrade and a 2nd battery with a 400 amp alternator to handle this much power, and I also replaced my kicker 4 channel amp with ct sounds 1000 watt 4 channel amp(150.4) and changed out my kicker door speakers with CT Sounds meso 6.5 component sets. I have completely rebuilt my whole system after testing 1 of these subs! The bass is tremendous with these subs as long as you calculate the rms correctly! I also rebuilt my truck from Kicker to all CT Sounds after my edge! I went with the meso 6.5 subs, 6x9s and meso 6.5 component sets in the doors. If you are only wanting punchy bass the 6.5s are great, though the 8" subs are very diverse and I'd recommend those if you can go that route. If you have not tested out CT Sounds I definitely recommend it! The price for the amazing sound quality is more than worth it!

Dead Amp on second day of useโฆ
I had purchased this amp at the end of December and as soon as I had finally gotten everything together and ready to install I set a date and had everything professionally installed. A day or so later the amp I guess caught fire? Idk it popped and started smoking through the speaker ports. After a couple more pops, no bass, smoke, and amp wouldnโt turn on. Turned on a few times after but anytime it would come to playing music itโd just turn off and then wouldnโt turn on anymore. Which I get. May actually be a good amp, everyone makes mistakes and one or two bad products so I wrote Amazon, I wrote CT, Amazon said I had nothing to worry about and after I emailed tgen and CT that they said if the answer I got from then was unsatisfactory then they woukd take care of it, first by a follow up email, the with another amp. Itโs been over a week and more than 3-4 times a piece Iโve tried to reach out to both and I still have not got a response. Idk about the amp and itโs quality bit customer service on both sides have been lack luster and REALLY Sub Par.

Best budget amp
I've had this thing for a year now and it's still going strong. It runs super cool, which is awesome. No problems so far, knock on wood. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. Glad I bought it.

Seems to work, likely correctly rated.
I'm not a car audio genius but I have owned several systems that I have installed, and you eventually get a feeling for the correct setup combo. I was running 2 shallow 10s , so your limited on your power, this amp is likely over powered for 2 10s with a RMS of 300 each. I cooked two cheapy 10s, they sounded amazing for a few weeks listening to some NOFX, a perfect circle and tool.. and they I got that burnt plastic smell, I knew the subs were done. That was wired to 2 ohms at the amp lol. I then wired to 4 ohms at the amp with a new set of shallow 10, again the RMS was 350 per sub, so wiring 4 ohm I didn't wanna cook my new items which were name brand 200$ subs. Overall this amp is nice, works great, and doesn't get too hot.. but.. I dialed it all in, sounded great, and then I plugged in the base knob, which seemed to mess everything up. Eventually the base knob cord, anytime I touched it, the subs would thump and hum. I litterally unplugged the knob and threw it away and here we are 6 months later the sub works great. Also, this was in a 2018 f250 with a factory Sony system which I bypassed using a pac unit, you can't delete the factory sub in this particular vehicles because it powers more then you realize. Also used the factory nav unit still which comes with its own audio settings to mess with. As vehicles get newer and newer this car audio stuff gets harder amd more expensive. The amp, being 250, 400 in subs, 150$ box, 199$ pac unit, and prob 100$ in wiring, its easy to not wanna burn up equipment not knowing the correct way to wire things. My advice, great amp, but use Google, get diagrams, don't wire double or triple your subs RMS, your just asking for a problem.

Absolutely banging
Hi quality amp I started with it powering a JL audio 10w3 then upgraded to 2 JL Audio 12W7's at 1 ohm it bangs all day never gets hot but you absolutely need to run at least 2 gage (or larger) wires from the battery and not that copper clad aluminum junk if you install it right this amp will be great only slightly complaint is that the base knob kinda feels cheap and the light on it is way to dam bright it will light up the whole car if mounted on the dash so point it to the floor and your ally good I sharpied over mine still shows through but is much dimmer

CT 2000 watt mono block amp
The CT mono block 2000 watt amp is a fantastic amp with lots of power to run my two 12" American Bass competition subs plus my 10" massive 3000 watt competition sub and after 6 months this CT-2000.1D monoblock amplifer is still going strong, and I play my music loud with lots of bass. All I can say, it's a great amp for the money.

Approved
If you need a hard cord sounds system this is what you are looking for, don't forget the LC2i and a good sub to handle the outcome, love it

My first ct sounds amp and love it
I have it powering a deaf bonce apocalypse db-3015r 15" d2 in a ported box in a jeep wrangler jku and it pushes the 2800w rms subwoofer with no issues at all.Watched Steve Mead dyno the amp on yt before i bought it and it blew all the ratings out the window. Highly recommend
