One of my cats keeps peeing on the bed so I figured I would give this blanket a try. It's the first waterproof blanket I've bought that has actually worked so it gets 5 stars for that. The only problem I've noticed is that the blanket traps heat like nothing else so I sweat so much sleeping under this blanket. Minus 1 star for that. Honestly that's the only problem I've had with this blanket and I'd rather deal with being too hot when I sleep rather than having to wash all the sheets and comforters since they got peed on.

I’ve purchased two (for two different beds) and would probably purchase again but the quality does fade over time. When I first bought them, any liquid that got on the blanket pooled up on top of it. Dog drool, slobber, wet feet / whiskers from water bowl overflow or puppy piddle, whatever the liquid was, it was easy to wipe away with a towel and never soaked through. It didn’t leave a stain or smell, as though the liquid had never been there at all. I wash this usually once a week when I changed my sheets to get the dog hair off. After the third washing I noticed the liquid no longer pooled up on top. It soaked through the cloth top. Because the second layer appears to be rubberized, it did NOT soak through to the sheets. But, the smell of whatever liquid had soaked through stayed inside the cloth top. Now if the blanket gets wet, I have to wash it. As well, when I wash it now, since the top cloth fabric no longer has waterproofing capability, water from the washing machine is trapped between the layers. I have to take it outside and squeeze all the water out of the blanket before I can put it into the dryer. If I don’t do this then it takes 3 cycles to dry. I really like the fact that whatever is wet will not penetrate through to the fabric (quilt / sheets, etc) below it but I have to wash it every few days now or the room begins to smell like wet dogs. I will probably purchase another blanket so I can trade them out immediately instead of washing the original one and putting it right back on the bed. I would still recommend it to anyone not needing to worry about the top waterproofing portion. If nothing else, it def keeps the dog hair off the bed!

This works great! Definitely waterproof and stain proof. The rubber backing holds it in place, doesn’t slide off when my two Boykins jump up and down and wiggle all over it. I live on a lake and the dogs are constantly in and out of the water! Saves my bedspread and shams from dirt, dog hair and wet dogs! Easily washers and no wrinkles!I ordered the largest size so it fits to bottom of the bedspread. My dogs when wet, want to rub along the sides of the bed to dry off, so this prevents the dirt, wet dog transfer on the sides too!NOT navy blue as described, more Williamsburg blue! I didn’t mind that it is lighter in color than described, but some may. This is the only “negative “. Will buy again for family!

purchased this cover in king size and it completely covers the top of my queen size bed. My son's dog moved in (brought his suitcase and never left) and he sheds, my dog does not. I couldn't stand hair on my quilt so I purchased this cover and it is wonderful. Light weight, soft, and stays put on my bed. I would highly recommend if you have a dog shedding problem.

We have two dogs that like to rest themselves on the bed. In the past a number of bedspreads have been ruined by them. We tried the idea of closing the door to them but more often than not we would forget. Once again (lol) dogs 1....humans 0. This cover is attractive enough to be left on the bed and does exactly what it is advertised to do.

This is a great pad. Super soft and a good size. I had it in my dogs’ crate as a blanket. It was perfect until my dogs ripped it apart. Highly recommend as a furniture cover.

Product solved problem of small dogs thinking they can pee on the bed. Now i do not get surprised by a wet spot when i get in bed. Especially since i cannot change dhrets from my wheelchair. So glad i found this product!!!

So I got this to use as the floor of my piggies playpen area. Their cages are on the small side, so they must have a floor area to run around and get some exercise in. This blanket is perfect. It can be folded to fit the size of the area, it's definitely pee-proof and easy to pick up and clean when not in use.

Works well just easy to fall off when you sit and get up from it.
