Black New Mens Solid Color Black Ties

I ordered this tie for my husband to wear to a wedding that he was part of. He had told me only three days prior what I had to purchase so he could match his fellow groomsmen. THANK GOODNESS this tie was available for two day shipping!Not only is this tie EXTREMELY affordable, and had a fast delivery option, but it looks nice on too. You couldn’t tell the difference between his tie and the more expensive ones the other men were wearing just by looking at it.The only thing that didn’t work too well for him was the length. I’d say if you are 6 foot or under this would work pretty well for you, but my husband is 6’8” and it was pretty short. To get it to a decent length was very tough, and took multiple people trying to make it work. By the time we got it to look decent on him the smaller side of the tie that is tucked behind the larger side (I apologize for my lack of terminology) was about two inches long. It stuck out so we tucked it in between two of his shirt buttons to hide it. This is my fault for not looking at the size of the tie, which I believe is in the description so please don’t make the same mistake as me, and not knowing ties even came in sizes.

The tie is as described. A nice shiny black (100% polyester) with no other color except for the lining. My husband opened it and put it on his dresser for weeks so don't mind that I now have to wash it since it has dust (white specks) on it, it did not come that way, it was clean when he opened it. I have a dusty house but I put this review off long enough and wanted to show the stitches and how it is made with the lining so don't mind the white specks. It is stitched nicely even at the dark blue lining. Where the material was sewn together at the tail end of the tie, it is done very nicely as well. This is no expensive tie by any means but it definitely is good for the limited time he needs it for and looks very nice. As I said, I haven't washed it yet and when I do if there is a problem I will edit this review to let you know so until I find there is a problem, it is 5 stars.

Meh. It is thicker than a cheap costume tie, but it's pricier then it need be. I needed a black tie asap for catering gig, wedding last minute needing staff. I like the sheen and thickness. It was easy to tie. Great long length because I'm a girl but heavy/curvy and long in torso, so I'm glad it's plenty long to probably fit anyone even a lumberjack. I was rushed so I just ordered the fastest solid black work tie I found. I just saw many comparable ties at my thrift store for $1. So I just overpaid. And sadly, the return window was so short, I missed it so I'm stuck with it. At least I can deduct it from taxes as I'm a 1099 worker. But still, it's overpriced imo.

I'm 5'11" and this tie is about 6 inches shorter than other ties I own. It also creases easily and the quality doesn't feel like it will last. I think it's okay for the price and probably better for people who are 5'5" or shorter so I don't know that I would call this an adult sized tie

Was great for my costume. I needed something that was low in cost, but still sturdy, just incase. I would aslo wear this with a suit, due to the good quality. Length also wasn't a problem for me, and I'm 6 foot.
