Bloem Dura Cotta Plant Saucer, Terra Cotta, 6"

I bought this large plant dish to replace an identical one that lasted over a decade, out in the weather in our backyard. It sits on a Cyprus log the original owner drove into the ground as a post. We've lived here for 35 years and I think we've only replaced the dish a few times. I considered a ceramic bird bath but the few I've owned have cracked or broken within a few years of purchase. This plastic dish isn't super thick, but it's sturdy and easy to clean with the hose. The birds started using it right away - they drink from it and have vigorous baths. I expect it'll last another decade. Recommended.

This size saucer for a large plant was hard for me to find. The one I have had cracked, and when I watered the plant, a lot of water would drip onto the deck. This new saucer works great.

This saucer/flower pot basin is not only well made of durable plastic, it is deeper than most, so when used as a bird bath as we have used in our deck mounted bird bath holder, it works perfectly (just be sure to measure both your ring and the saucer make certain the diameters are compatible). And the birds love it!!!

I like the price. Saucers are pricy in general. This one was a tiny price competetive.

No idea why people trash this in reviews. All plant saucers are sized based on the outer lip, not the base. You go to any store and buy any saucer plastic or clay, whatever stated size is measured as the top diameter and its understood the bottom will be smaller. In fact all pots are measured and sold with this sizing scheme. If it was sold as the size measured from bottom, you'd have the same type of people on here complaining about it being too large! Anyway, if the size is too small for you... JUST RETURN AND GET LARGER. Now to the actual review:- quality is robust for a plastic saucer - thicker to me than the clear ones sold in home depot- to me clear plastic saucers with the "feet" like vigoro ones would be more prone to cracking under stress than this one- i have a HUGE pot over this and have no worries of it cracking- won't mar floor like clay saucer- ridges allow pot to be lifted up so extra water can collect underneath and hopefully evaporate- black color fits quite nicely with any pot and decor- made in USA labeled

This saucer is thin plastic and was shipped in a very thing plastic envelope with no padding. It was crushed during delivery. Thickness is about that of a piece of construction paper. Way too much money for what you get, particularly when it arrives crushed - no way to bend it back into shape.When I checked vendor reviews, I learned that many people have complained about shoddy shipping.

This is a good quality item, but I was shipped one with a broken top edge, and the base exterior is actually larger than 10.75" so it wouldn't work for the purpose I'd purchased it for--10.75" must refer to the interior of the bottom on the 14" saucer, in case that helps anyone else in selecting a saucer. The exterior at the bottom is slightly larger than 11.25". The saucer had clearly been broken prior to being put into the shipping box by Amazon, since there was no damage to the shipping carton, nor to another plant saucer shipped in the same carton. It's not worth the inconvenience or aggravation of returning it, and isn't damaged in a way that would make it entirely unusable, but I'm disappointed that items with such obvious visible damage on the very top edge of it would be shipped by an Amazon distribution warehouse to a customer. Other than the damage to it, it's a nice plant saucer in a lovely chocolate color, and sturdy enough that it would be durable under normal use and probably not break easily, either.

Perfect for a water fall holder' the birds love it; they drink the water and bathe in it.
