This Columbia Montrail Caldorado III trail running shoe has been designed to provide the right balance of support, traction and cushioning for long-distance running on uneven mountain trails. The Caldorado is a known footwear by trail runners. This model comes with a seamless abrasion-resistant waterproof mesh upper with a soft forefoot flex zone, a cushioning collar foam, a fully integrated gusset and reinforced toe caps for comfort and protection. The FluidFoam midsole provides a fine and comfort cushioning while FluidGuide adds stability and a smooth ride on the trail. The full-length rubber outsole has an integrated Trailshield protection plate with forefoot flex grooves for underfoot protection while the multi-directional lugs provide ideal traction.

Quality trail shoes
First Columbia's, I usually wear the Pegasus Trails and wanted to try something different. These are great for various terrain / light trails with decent cushioning. More comfortable than I expected for a waterpoof, seem to be well made and they look good.

Good fit, better grip + waterproof
Shoes were a good fit, they give me noticeably better grip on mud / paths / trails. Good ankle support and definitely waterproof, after a path I came across was flooded, they were waterproof until the level was above the trainer. They look smart too.

Harmonious colors and very comfortable

Great protection 👍
I run on very rocky terrain so I needed a hard sole. These trainers exceeded my expectations in every single way. Comfortable, relatively light and most importantly protect my soles. When these eventually wear out I will 100% buy Columbia again.

Good shoe for off roading
Haven't clocked that many miles in them yet, but so far they're pretty good - Most of my running is off road; ride is a little harder than I expected, but they grip well in the wet, in loose mud and on shingle. A little slippy on wet rock, but that seemed to improve after a few runs. (So, not dissimilar to new tyres on your car). They drain quickly after drenching in puddles / streams, and importantly, do not let small stones etc into the shoe. Would recommend for trial running.

Great running shoe
Best running shoe I have purchased. Very comfortable and a great fit. I have run in the rain, snow, hiking trails, city streets, and my feet have always been dry. I purchased the women's pair for my wife because I loved them so much. Excellent purchase--you won't be disappointed.

Tal como lo prometido: se ven muy bien y tienen buen material
Quedé muy contento con estos tenis. Me quedan bien, y tienen una suela fuerte que, efectivamente, permiten correr en la montaña, no se rasgan en las piedras. Antes tenía unos Columbia Mountain (antecesores a éstos), y duraron más de 1,300km! (medido con aplicación para correr, usando GPS). Estos prometen durar igual de mucho. Los recomiendo.

Fue un regalo para mi marido y esta encantado con ellas. Súper cómodas desde el primer día, muy bonitas y con plantilla extraible, que en su caso es algo imprescindible porque lleva plantillas ortopédicas.
