This bible is wonderful. The footnotes are beautifully written. It was a great purchase and I just ordered another one for a friend. I study the KJV but this interpretation is very helpful.

I cannot say enough about this copy of the passion translation. It is great quality. Giftgiving quality. And the pages are thin, but so easy to turn. Sometimes with my other Bibles, I have trouble splitting one page from another, even after I’ve read them and flipped them. But with this one, the pages turn so nicely. I just love it!

This is such a wonderful addition to our study and reading. We read the notes and learn so much. We still use our other complete NKJV, Message, Amplified, KJV, NLT, but TPT has been a treasure find for us. Highly recommend especially for people who may be just starting out on their journey. We have given this to a number of people. The pages are a bit thin and our covers are coming undone a bit. They do not make hardback books like they used to. God bless you all.

Just got my NT and reading 1 John- it is so Wonderful and the notes explaining. Shows how Much God loves us- just realizing how much after reading this and l am 74. God has to be helping this man explain it to people. God is Not Santa Claus- He loves us but does not condone sin- He shows us our sin and helps us get back on track. Praise Jesus

I love the Passion Translation (TPT) and got one that I can read easily. First one I ordered was way too small print for me to read so I'm hanging on to it until the Lord tells me to gift it to someone else. This one has larger print and all the original one I ordered. Great features like a synopsis of the book, who wrote it, why, to whom and how it was transmitted/written (letter or biography, etc.). Plus it provides you with a details on themes throughout the book. I highly recommend this new translation. Right now they Bibles are the New Testament and a few Old Testament books Psalm, Proverbs, Song of Songs. There are a handful of other OT translations but they come in individual books at this time as I'm sure it takes time to translate as close to Hebrew and Greek original text as possible.

I really enjoy The Passion Translation and have purchased many as gifts. The footnotes are very enlightening. Holy Spirit revelations were profound when reading this wonderful version of the New Testament.

A very good size to take with you when you are traveling, The Passion Translation is a good bible to add to your bible collection if you want to compare scriptures.

The Passion translation is amazing! I am French and I find it super easy to read and understand thanks to all the notes at the bottom of each pages (Cf photos). The wording is accurate and very understandable. This Bible gives a lot of explanation and context that prevent me from misunderstanding many passages on important and burning issues (ex: the role of women in church, etc): the truth will set you free! Also, the cover is very beautiful and the quality is good!

This is my 4th version of the Bible and its refreshing to have a choice of text. This version reads easily and the translation is often more easily understood than older translations. There certainly is a 'Passion about it.

Die Passion Übersetzung, traut sich texte neu zu übersetzen, und setzt auch nicht selten in einem Brief einen Context ein der dann eh später erläutert wird, das macht die Übersetzung sehr gut lesbar, man ist aber damit nicht allein gelassen, sehr viele Verweise aus dem Aramäischen, griechischen und hebräische Urtexten hellen die Passagen auf und zeigen auch alternative für mich schon überraschend erfrischende Sichtweisen auf. Die 2020er Ausgabe ist im Text an wenigen Passagen wörtlicher übersetzt und öfters dann in den Verweisen auf alternative oder ergänzende Facts hin gewiesen. Das muss aus der Text-Kritik gekommen sein, viele meinen ja die Passion Übersetzung sei keine richtige Bibel. Als Beispiel wie anregend die alternative Übersetzung : In Antioch wurden die Jünger zum ersten mal Christen genannt. Passion übersetzt : In Antioch wurden die Jünger zum ersten Mal die Gesalbten genannt. Was für ein Unterschied!!! Das klassische Übersetzungen legen den Schwerpunkt auf die Benamung Aber nein ! Die Leute erkannten die Nachfolger als Gesalbte des Herren, was für ein Unterschied. Ich lese übrigens auch The Voice oder The Message, aber die Passion Übersetzung hat es mir angetan. Ich weiss nicht ob es an der Übersetzung liegt aber ich habe den Eindruck das eine geistliche Decke die auf mir lag beim lesen dieser Übersetzung zerbricht. So soll es sein! Amen
