I bought this for my son who is learning how to cook. He's still a little young so I don't feel comfortable letting him use knives. These are a much safer option and they work just as well. You can use them on veggies, fruit, meat, cutting up breadcrumbs, etc. When you are finished, they can be tossed in the dishwasher for easy clean up.

Great shears for the kitchen. They are easy to wash, just throw them in the dishwasher. They come with a sleeve to keep the metal part of the scissors in and they look nice.

Overall great design and cuts amazing. They can cut through chicken like butter and have exceeded my expectations.
