My scalp for some reason, got really dry this winter and became extremely itchy. I searched online for a product that could not only help but was free of chemicals and cruelty free. This product popped up and seemed to check off everything I was looking for. It is definitely not the cheapest thing out there, but it WORKS! The cream is a little on the thicker side but it’s so easy to apply. It’s a dark gray which reminds me of the volcanic ash that it’s in it. To use it, all you do is apply some to your hands and massage it into your scalp. Then get a little more and put it in the rest of your hair. Set a timer for five minutes and then you’re good to rinse. The first time I used this, I didn’t even have the shampoo and conditioner that pairs along with this product and I still saw a huge difference. My scalp felt so moisturized and wasn’t itchy anymore. My hair, OMG my hair was so soft. My boyfriend who never even notices anything, commented on how flowy my hair looked after using this product. I was sold. I ordered the shampoo and conditioner as well and have been using all three. This is definitely a product that is worth its price and that I will highly recommend!

I’ve been using this mask for a few weeks now and I LOVE the way my hair feels every time that I use it. The minute I put it on, there's a cooling sensation that can’t be replicated by any other product– not to mention it smells SO good. After the 5 minute wait time, my hair feels soft and smooth while washing it out in the shower. I definitely feel like this is doing wonders for my scalp and will continue using it once a week to give my hair the “facial” it deserves.

Very effective and pleasant smell. I use it twice a week. Only suggestion is to perhaps repackage as a bottle with applicator tip (like for hair coloring) that some competitors already use so that it can be directly applied to the scalp without getting it all over the hair. The current method is less efficient and wastes a lot of product before it ever gets to the skin and that it makes it a bit harder to massage.

I absolutely love this!! If you have an itchy scalp or oily looking scalp this is perfect. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it is amazing. I usually use about once a week and wash my hair twice a week. My scalp feels so much better after I started using this. I noticed a difference on the first wash!

It Does Warm Up and Is Thick In Consistency Which I Guess It's Supposed To Be But I don't notice any difference or efficacy with relieving my itchy dry scalp.

The product is not a droopy mess. You can squirt a bit into your hand and really work it into your hair, but it does dry down quite quickly, so you have to move quickly. The product is cooling and feels nice to the scalp, but it’s a lot of money for such a little amount of product. I used this product once on my natural, thick 4C hair, and I’m almost done with the bottle. Would I be repurchasing again? Probably not. Too expensive for such a little amount and my hair needs a lot. But a great product to try once and probably for people that don’t have a lot of curly/kinky/thick hair.

Immediately after putting this on my hair there was an immediate cooling sensation on my scalp that felt wonderful. I have thick hair so it takes a while to cover everything. I left it on for the recommended time and then took my shower as normal. It smells so nice and my scalp felt refreshed after the shower as well. My hair was also super soft and shiny for the next couple days. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add an extra-nice step to their hair care routine!

This is such a cool scalp mask! The volcanic ash makes the foam a unique grey color and it really works wonders for my scalp and dandruff flakes. I have used it twice and my scalp feels extremely refreshed for the whole week afterwards and I have noticeably less flaking. This mask is part of my normal hair care routine now. Never thought I would notice the benefits of a scalp mask but this really works.
