Zerex G05 Antifreeze Coolant Concentrate 1 Gallon

This is the proper coolant for my 3500 diesel truck . Seems to be working great .. this supplier was several dollars less than my local supplier.

I'm still a big fan of HOAT coolants. Highly compatible. Zerex G05 is a great replacement for other HOATs that are harder to come by and more expensive. It's an excellent value in this 100% formulation.

Appearance is thick. Color is correct. A tight fitting cap prevents leakage for transport after you cut your mix. Clear measurement marking on the clear sideview panel make it easy to obtain your required percentage of dilution. Functionality is off the charts of you're a G05 user. Two gallons of Concentrate makes 4 gallons of 50/50 at a MUCH lower price than buying prediluted G05! I met my 11+ gallon summer mix quota and still have a gallon left over. I'm happy! I think anyone would be!

This is right stuff to use when your vehicle recommends using HOAT based antifreeze. It is cheaper and just as good as the more expensive Mopar antifreeze.I used it to replace my antifreeze on my 2006 Jeep Commander after I flushed my system. By the way when doing a complete change out on the Commander cooling system (draining everything including removing the radiator hoses and draining the reserve tank) it takes 14.7 quarts to refill, which means you need to buy 2 gallons of Zerex G-05. You will use about a gallon and a half of the G-05 and the same amount of water to make a 50/50 mix.I highly recommend using distilled water. Distilled water doesn't have impurities or minerals that will eventually clog up your radiator. I bought distilled water for my local drug store for a dollar a gallon. If you doing a simple flush you will probably only need a gallon of G-05 and a gallon of distilled water. When I first started to pour the G-05 it was clear and I thought I had the wrong stuff, but after mixing it with water and after some time past it turned orange.
