I am 6'00" with a 32-34" waist and 32" length is this not going to work? normally i would just get a large in clothing. am i tall?

You are 'borderline tall' - but size large should work for you. This fabric does stretch, because of the spandex. Size XL might be too loose at the waistline to stay in place when you are active.
