Great purchase!
First time I used it today, even though I've had it for a few weeks. It was difficult to learn at first since there wasn't much clarity on which way the switch needed to be flipped, but once I understood it, the tool worked flawlessly. The two bigger sides were unused since the car I was working on had smaller calipers. I do wish that there was a better way to hold the larger sides as the magnets are too small and are prone to falling out. For anyone using it the first time, one of the sides unscrews outward to fit the gap between the calipers.

Great tool
This is a great tool. I've used a c-clamp for ever which can be a bit clunky and clumsy. This tool was very easy to use and got the job done quickly. I haven't used it on any of my full size trucks yet, but did my moms small suv easily. I don't anticipate any problems with a large caliper. It was very smooth and did not feel as it was under any stress at all. I like it.

Great tool made well
Great tool and made well. I have always been told if you use a tool once or twice it has paid for itself, and that is definitely true of this tool. It has saved me time and headaches. Very handy to have in my box. Made and works exactly as described. Good quality and at a good fair price.

No more fumbling with C clamps
Not sure what others are running into for brake calipers saying they stripped out the ratchet, but the tool works great and spreads calipers with ease.. It definitely saved me more than 20 dollars in time on first brake job using it.

What a little helper
Got this bad boy and used it on my 2002 Ford Expedition, calipers weren’t stuck and it was pretty smooth and easy pushing the dual pistons back.

Saves time and energy
Used this handy little gem to swap brake pads on my Tundra and Corolla. Works as described

works as advertised
it works fine but will not reduce down far enough IF the brake pads are worn all the way to metal.

poor rivet job
has four rivets in the handle. they could have been set better. i had to tighten them up.

Ratchet is lower quality, but works well enough
The ratcheting mechanism is not terribly fine, and the build quality feels a little cheaper than other tools of this type I have used, but it does what it's supposed to. Unfortunately the tool was unable to push back the caliper pistons completely without the extra plates, and the plates were too long to fit within the caliper (Toyota). Once I trimmed the ends off of the plates, the tool worked perfectly.

works in theory
Comes with no instructions and while pretty easy to figure out the ratchet direction seems a little flimsy

Works perfectly
Makes the job a lot easier

Good
Does the job perfectly. Sometimes when using the big attachments tgey fall while fitting it to the caliper due to the magnets are too small

Didn't Work Consistently
I bought this in the hopes of getting a caliper press for significantly less than a Bluepoint or Lang Tools version costs like most of my coworkers use. Sadly, this version doesn't come close to comparing to those tools. The unit I received came in damaged packaging and unsurprisingly failed to work consistently. Unless there was constant pressure on the plates, it often wouldn't expand at all and the ratcheting mechanism felt horrible. Needless to say, this press was returned and I don't recommend it to anyone.
