Smooth ride
Worked awesome, no ugly wheel weights on my wheels anymore no vibrations or balance issues. First time ever using but definitely not the last!

They seem to work
I don’t have a tire spinner to test just how good the balance is but they seem to work pretty good. Maybe one day I’ll have one pulled to see how the balance is just to see and update accordingly. It saved a bunch of money anyway.

Handle with care.
I didn't use them but they shipped fairly fast. Only thing is be careful when opening or they go everywhere fast if inside package is open. Pretty neat concept.

These work, with notes, not sure about long term since the beads are glass
I have the "chevy shake" on my truck, it might be made worse by a tire problem, it also might be due to the natural resonance of the suspension. I balanced one wheel several times, and increased the speed before the shake up past 60mph, but never fixed it. These beads fixed the shake. They are not a "cure all," nor is the fix instant. As you go up in speed past 60mph, the tire will start bouncing, but over the period of 30 or 40 seconds, the bounce will reduce, depending upon road conditions. I found speeding up past the mph I wish to drive (while experiencing a decent amount of bounce) for a few seconds and then dropping the mph back to my desired speed will give me the best results for a smooth ride much faster. If you more or less stop worrying about the bounce, you will find it is working well enough for your attention to be off the bounce, and the ride turns out to be very acceptable.

Balancing beads
Balance beads are balance beads. These do the job. Comes with 4 individual bags of beads, each with a valve stem and metal cap.

Hopeful for a fix, optimism quickly turns to frustration.
Have been chasing an out of balance or out of round tire that the tire shops have been unable to identify or fix. Read lots of reviews on these Counteract beads was hopeful they would fix the problem, all my purchase did was lead to more frustration. If you are considering these beads there are a few other points to think about before trying these, look at the photos for reference. These beads are incredibly small, however if you have any type of mechanical obstruction in your valve stem there is likely no way for you to install them unless you have a tire machine at home or access to one. If you have a tire pressure monitoring system on your vehicle, there is a 99% chance you can not install them through the valve stem. Even if you don't have TPMS, your valve stems may be too small to install the beads through the stem. My attempt was on stock 2018 Ram 20" wheels on a Ram 3500/2500. Tried to install the beads through the stem and it immediately plugged up, even with the tire deflated, then lifting the tire with a jack to create a vacuum inside the tire to suck the beads inside. Plugged up completely, would accept no air at all. Had to use a needle pick to pick out all the glass beads and discovered although these wheels did not have TPMS inside, there was a brass restrictor at the base of the valve stem that immediately plugged up with the beads. Something else to think about is if you have a flat, especially if you are on a long trip and need a tire fixed at a tire shop, how happy are they going to be to discover your tire is filled with miniature glass beads? Will they be willing to clean out all the beads? Will they actually take the time to make certain there are no glass beads on the tire bead where it seals to the wheel? or will they do a quick fix, trapping beads between the wheel and the tire bead and now you have to worry about leaks? Will you carry a spare pack of beads with you for field repairs? This shipper, Amazon Prime approved, packed the 4 @ 6 ounce bags of beads inside a USPS shipping box, then stuck that box in a FedEx mailer, a clear violation of USPS rules for their "free" shipping boxes that all of us pay for in federal taxes. Two of the packages I received had broken open inside the Counteract printed bags, no damage to the shipping containers, however the bags your are supposed to be able to just throw inside a dismounted tire had ruptured sometime before they arrived at my shop. Also be careful what Counteract "app" or chart you use. The general rule of thumb is 1 ounce of beads for 13 pounds of tire, however if you look at other charts, the rate is substantially higher, especially if it is a mud tire, like a 40 x 13.50 x 17 mud tire takes 16 ounces of beads, a full pound of beads? Have you ever seen a pound of lead weights attached to any wheel ever? I guess for those of us that dig into the details and expect products like this to work, might as well just throw a can of bud light inside the tire and call it good.

This is second set of beads I've used and I am happy with how they work. They seem to balance tires well and you don't have to worry about weights falling off.

I’ve used the balance bead hundreds of time throughout the years and always put them in with breaking down the tire, customer of mine suggested putting on his truck with tube and bottle for 2 tires he had changed. This does not work, it may work if you have a hour per wheel. I did not and removed and poured in as normal. Waste of of a bottle and hose

Purchased these to balance my winter tires that had a real bad shimmy starting at 85 Kph on my 2011 Dodge Journey. I don't know where the previous owner of the truck had the tires balanced, but there were weights all over the place in and out. I tried to install them through the valves but could not. It was a real PITA. Then I checked and I had TPMS's directly on the valves. I was lucky enough to have a manual tire machine so I removed the tires , broke the beads and poured a measured 4 ounces per tire. I was done within an hour. I put 2 ounces per tire in my motorcycle through the valves and that went really well. I ordered the 6 ounce bags because I wanted some left in case I spilled some and now I have a spare 4 ounces. Don't do like I did. Read the FAQ on the Counteract website as they definitely do not recommend pouring through the valves if you have TPMS on them. Otherwise, you will have to break the bead. Other than that, I am very satisfied.

Did a great balancing job for a Ram 1500. Only one package had the beads in a separate bag that I could throw in the tire. The other 3 packages had the bead bags cut open for some reason so I had to make 3 bags out of tissue paper to place in the remaining tires. Also had to fish through loose beads to retrieve the valve and cap. It was a bit messy.

Put these in my 31x10.5 R15 all terrain tires, I currently have three wheels with weights and one with beads. It’s hard to feel a difference in how that tire drives compared to the weight balance. Feels great! Although after hours trying to get my new tire on (old had puncture) I had to get the shop to pop the tire on the rim and put the beads in while they did it, I wish I got to actually put them in but that’s my personal preference.
