I absolutely recommend these screen protectors. When I first bought my Garmin 66i I slightly scratched the screen on a tough hike. That's when I bought this for the first time. After a couple of years I also cracked the protector I had on it (no damage to the Garmin at all). No problem, I had spares and easily replaced the cracked one. Since this is made of tempered glass it is super clear to view the screen of the GPS. You lose no clarity at all just because you put this on top of the existing screen. And it is easy to install. Just make sure that you clean your GPS screen first and clean it thoroughly (they provide you with alcohol swaps, lint cloth and sticky round pad to pick up any lint on the screen.) Then you gently peel that plastic cover on the shield and place it over the GPS screen (make sure you do not touch the adhesive side when you peel the plastic film!). Using the lint cloth, gently rub it in place until you see all the air bubbles come out. Now, this is CRUCIAL: there is only one correct orientation for the shield to fit perfectly over your GPS. This is the trick. The tab sticking out of the shield must face towards the top of the GPS (see my photo). If it is facing towards the bottom, it will not fit properly. Before you even peel the plastic to install it just try both orientation so you can see what I mean. Trust a fellow hiker (or outdoors enthusiast!). If you invested your hard earned money to get yourself a Garmin, dish out a few extra bucks and get this. You will not regret it!

It fits the product description GPS's perfectly. The GPSMAP 66i for example has corner curves which are different at the top and bottom. Make sure you have the screen oriented accordingly. Thoroughly alcohol clean your screen and dust it with the provided round sticky. To keep oils and finger prints off the work I recommend always wearing nitrile or latex gloves. Use two of the provided screen cover placement stickies and take your time settling the screen in the corners of the GPS screen. Insure you have no bubbles before pressing screen tight. If you need to lift and edge to eliminate an air pocket, Take a sharp probe point and carefully lift only the amount of screen necessary to then let the screen cover settle one end to the other (I had to do this). Satisfied with the placement, no air pocket ? Use a clean lint free soft cloth to press the cover onto the GPS screen (several times). Make sure you carefully press in all around the inside edge. Easy peasy lemon squeezey... Congratulations ! Very high quality product. I think it's an absolute necessity for my new GPSMAP 66i screen safety. I hope I never need it. Then again, I bought an extended Ausrion policy for the Garmin too.

I was out in the woods yesterday and my Garmin GPS came off my belt and fell on some rocks. The screen appeared cracked. When I got home, I removed the screen protector and the screen was perfectly protected, as the photos show. I'm glad I had this on my GPS.

Order this for a Garmin67I - yes you need this product day one. The screen scratches really easy unlike most cell phones. I had problems with fit so i sent an email to superscreens and received and email back in less than 15min. They asked for a pic which I sent and they quickly notice and replied that i had it on upside down. So if you buy this product be care with orientation. The top and bottom corners do not have the same radius but the screen saver fits perfecting when oriented correctly.
