Nova Maple SyrupPure Grade-A Maple Syrup (Quart)

I’m a maple fanatic. I love anything that has maple in it. However, I was blown away by this product. It is magnificent! Thank you to the entire Nova family for producing the extraordinary maple syrup.

Well, I opened it, tasted it, tastes like maple syrup. I'm not too much of a connoisseur on what really good maple syrup is supposed to taste like but it taste good. but, I swear, I thought I was ordering 32 oz as that's a cheaper way to go. since this pint costs about as much as other 32 oz maple syrup products on Amazon. But it's a small business so hopefully I get my maple syrups worth ;)

good flavor

This maple syrup is very good - nice dark flavor. The plastic jug is easy to pour from, HOWEVER the red plastic cap is awkward to remove. Even after the first time you get it open, it is difficult to unscrew the next time, and tricky to put back on. This is a bad design.

Growing up in Vermont, I never had anything but the "real stuff". I even tapped trees and boiled sap to make maple syrup as a teenager. I've got to say, this is 100% pure the Real Deal. At breakfast with friends this morning, everyone enjoyed pancakes smothered in maple syrup with rave reviews. Why did I choose Nova in particular? Convenience, cost, and lightning fast shipping. Remember, pure maple syrup is a commodity that is stictly graded and classified and really can't vary from one producer to another in that respect. Rule of thumb: Lighter the color = lighter maple flavor. Grade A can be light, medium, or amber which is fine for everyday use. I tend to prefer more maple flavor in cooking so use dark amber, known as grade B. Organic? Always has been if 100% pure maple syrup, so don't pay more. I'm very pleased with the syrup and will buy again.

It arrived quickly. It is thick and has a strong maple flavor. For me personally, too strong for with pancakes or waffles. However, I love it on my vanilla ice cream!! I use it in my homemade baked beans and it's perfect for baking. The only reason I took away a star, is that upon arrival outer seal was fine, but the inner seal was messy with dried syrup. I emailed the company, and he said that it was fine to use, and something to the effect of : that the inner syrup probably just got over filled a little. So since the outer seal was tightly sealed, I decided to use it.

As a transplanted native Vermonter living in SC pancakes, waffles and vanilla ice cream or just not the same without maple syrup. The times our families have brought us syrup were awesome but would bring a tear to my eye when we hit the bottom of the jug. Rolled the dice on Amazon ordered maple syrup from PA. Nova maple syrup is awesome! Great flavor and super value. Received 2days from order date. We’ll be regular customers now!
