Warren Buffett Accounting Book: Reading Financial Statements for Value Investing

Honnêtement il est très bien pour les débutants. Ignorez les mauvais avis sur les gens qui ont laissé une étoile. Le livre est très bien fait pour les débutants. Je commencerais par ce livre plutôt que par l’investisseur intelligent.

I read a lot about markets, investing and trading. After about 10 years of experience in the markets i have to admit that this is one of the best books ive ever read! The whole background about buffetts value investing in one book! There are many examples and the math behind it is very well described. Its more like a tutorial explaining completely everything. Why is it better than other books? Because theres no blabla in this book. Everything is described in metaphors so its even easy for beginners to follow. Advanced readers are able to take a different perspective concerning the markets. Absolute recommendation!

After a job change, I needed to get into a podcast while driving into work. Behold, I found TIP by Preston and Stig. They seemed to reference their book a few times in the podcast and it definitely is good for all types of investors. They take difficult concepts and make it so simple to understand. Definitely some parts of the book a little trickier than others (e.g. intrinsic value calculation) but Rome wasn't built in a day either. Highly recommend these guys, they are a genuine duo and I have learnt so much from these two. Happy reading!

Fantastic book. I am a massive fans of the Investors podcast so thought I would buy the book. It is really clear, easy to follow and has some excellent exampled for the beginner like me. The second half beefs up so it is a great learning tool too.

Having read their first book "buffet's three favorite books", I was exited to read their accounting book as well. The book did not disappoint. It builds upon the first book and will provide the reader basic knowledge of one of the most essential part of value investing, accounting principles. From a beginner's perspective, this book will provide you with the essential knowledge needed to build expertise in the topic. Some of the best things about the book is that it is FUN to read (at school I believed accounting could never be fun...), filled with easy to understand examples and that it also outlines the math behind the various calculations. Maybe the best thing about this book, is that author's online forum which can be used by anyone. In their forum there are an extensive amount of other investors as well as the authors themselves that may help if questions arises along the read. For the more experienced investor, I believe this book will provide you with a great summary and a quick reference if you want to look up something quickly. Best regards, Kristian
