CannonDownrigger Cover

Great value for product. A bit baggy.

After investing in two Cannon downriggers, I did not want them to be subject to UV rays all season when my boat was moored in the marina.They work perfectly in protecting my downriggers. I read some concerns regarding the velcro closure not staying secured in highway speeds when towing.I use a small bungee as a safety precaution and have had no issues.A bit pricey, but they protect my downriggers as advertised.I strongly recommend.

Good looking. I'm kind of in the middle as to fit. If you fold the rod holders just right it fits pretty well but if your tired and just want to just get heading home its a pain. Overall I'd buy them again.

The Cannon cover is an excellent cover for my down rigger as my boat is not under cover and is exposed to the harsh weather of the San Juan Islands, Washington state all the time. I did add a snap at the bottom the of the front opening to assist in holding the cover firmly over the down rigger as we receive super strong winds in the islands during winter. I recommend the cover to you especially if your down rigger is exposed to the elements of weather.

The product works as described. After having to trailer the boat 200+ miles I had to remove them after one came off on the highway because the velcro did not secure them very well to my downrigger. I would not buy this product again, over priced and not very secure. Cannon makes great products but not this one. Fish on!

A bit big and sloppy for the Magnum 10STX downrigger and overpriced as well in my opinion. Might possibly go to a canvas shop and have one made that fits better and works just as well for less money. Would be better if they put a hole in the back that aligned with the rod holder. Not going to hurt the downrigger to get wet; it's a fishing thingy for hecks sake!
