Lasted me 5 years had to buy another one because I loved it so much . Heats up quickly , love how it curls and straightens, the shine it gives on the hair , and makes my hair feel soft .

After looking for what felt like forever and trying five different straighteners/2-in-1s, I finally found the one. I’m replacing a straightener I’ve had for 12 years, so the bar was set incredibly high. ​I prefer big, soft waves (the kind you get after brushing out tight curls), and this thing delivers! I don't start my curls at the root, and this iron makes it easy to start mid-shaft with a flawless glide. It’s much smoother and doesn't snag like other 2-in-1s I tried. The real "wow" moment was this morning though. My old favorite was famous for making curls last through the next day, and I was shocked to wake up and see my hair still looks incredible today! It actually has that perfect day-two look without me having to touch it up at all. My hair feels and looks so soft and healthy, which was my biggest goal. Plus, it straightens just as well as my Remington Shine Therapy, so it’s officially my new go-to for everything. I’m posting some photos so you can see the difference between the fresh curls and the brushed-out waves, plus how it looks straight! It’s also worth noting that my daughter likes tighter, actual curls rather than loose waves, and this worked for her too! She started her curls at the root, turned the iron more than I do as she went down, and just broke hers up with her fingers instead of brushing them out. Her hair looked amazing too. I just wish I had remembered to snap a picture!

I am loving this straightener! I wanted to try it out for a few weeks before I gave my review. So far it is amazing! Has 4 different heat settings to suit your taste. It has not caused any damage to my hair so far. I have owned more expensive brand straighteners before, and this one ranks above those by far! It is a little heavier than some, but for the price and the quality, it is an amazing straightener! It has a long 9 ft. swivel cord, and I really like the heat-resistant sleeve that comes with it because sometimes I don't have time to wait for it to cool before putting it in my bag. You can slip on the sleeve and put it in your bag right away! I also like that it has an auto shut-off.

Really nice straightener works well. Seems well made packaging comes in is luxurious.

This iron works amazing. I seen a comment stating you couldn't change the temperature and that is so not true. That tells you they didn't follow instructions. It has 4 heat settings. When you turn on iron you can press the button to change to the temperature that you want.

I bought this because it is dual voltage for when we travel to Europe. I absolutely fell in love with it and it replaced my Babyliss straightener that I’ve had for over 10 years. To be honest, I do love my Babyliss is more, but I needed something that wasn’t as expensive for traveling as that one was not due a voltage. This is definitely a great straightener and act as a much more expensive straightener too. I would definitely recommend this, especially for someone who is looking for a wonderful straightener who doesn’t want the highest sticker price. I have only had it for about two months so it doesn’t have the most amount of use or I can’t speak for its longevity, but I can say that it does heat up wonderfully and it does its job for sure.

Curls better than the Chi straightner, with curls that last. Also works great on thick hair.

I do not know how or why this item has positive reviews. I turned it on, it defaulted to 250 degrees, so I looked for a way to increase the temperature. Wait, there are no other buttons on this straightener. How do you increase the temperature? There is only a power button! So I try long-pressing the power button hoping it will do something - nope. Short-pressing? Just turns the straightener off. The box says it has four temperatures, but I see no way to adjust the temperature. There is no instruction manual included in the box. So now I have to search online for an instruction manual for the Kristin Ess straightener. The Kristin Ess website directs me to another website to download the manual, which instructs me to download an extension on my browser first in order to download the manual. You have got to be kidding me with this. This is a $90 straightener and there is no obvious way to change the temperature and the company wants to install an extension and gain access to my internet browser to be able to view their manual. No thank you. This is going right back to Amazon! Unbelievable.

I was really impressed with the Kristin Ess flat iron. The plates glide smoothly through my hair without much pulling or snagging, and it leaves my hair straight, smooth and polished. I actually prefer it over the T3, especially when it comes to the glide and overall styling experience. Pick Kristen Ess over the T3! The design and shape of the iron is also really nice and feels sleek and well thought out. My only complaint is that I wish the exterior wasn’t quite so matte, because I find it can sometimes pull on my hair when I’m rotating the iron to create curls. It doesn’t quite have the same professional quality and performance as my BaByliss Optima, which is still the best flat iron I’ve tried, but the Kristin Ess comes surprisingly close for the price and I reach for it more than I do with the T3. Overall, it performs really well and feels much more expensive than it is.

This is the best flat iron I have ever used. I kept stealing my step daughter's so I eventually bought my own. It really helps with frizz and it does not catch on your hair and rip it out. It works amazingly well. Definitely worth the price

I was worried about other reviews/information stating that titanium plates might be too hot for fine hair like I have. I rotate between a short bob and just past shoulder length hair and I find it nearly impossible to use a flat iron to curl my hair. I wanted one to do it all because I travel a lot and don’t want to pack multiple tools. I’ve tried a bunch of high end/OG ones and never loved them/found them really hard to curl with. I absolutely LOVE THIS TOOL. It was so easy to use and feels good in the hand. I also tried it on my friend with coarse thick hair and she loves it too. 10/10 recommend. For the price too this is such a steal.
