This soap makes your skin feel soft. The smells more like fresh milk with floral essence than lilac. The scent is really nice, but you may not associate with lilac. The scent doesn't stay with you for long, but I prefer that.

I first bought this soap in Florence, Italy and fell in love with the fragrance. When we returned home, on a whim, I searched for it on Amazon. I eagerly ordered it in an effort to extend the experience of our trip to Italy. When I received my package, I was so excited. My only disappointment was that it was smaller in size than the bar I bought in Italy. I was still pleased with the soap, but I know I will not buy it very often.

The scent is light and fresh, it soaps up just enough, and it leaves my skin feeling soft. Best of all, the bar is shaped perfectly for my small hands.

After giving up on the "natural" soaps that do not retain any fragrance, I chose this, and it's lovely.The scent stays on my body after my shower and is smooth and creamy on my skin.I'm enjoying it!

The body lotion was so strong, I smelled two days later on hands. Thought soap would be milder but seems not to have a scent

What a disappointment. Not a powdery iris scent. Lots of allergenic ingredients. Not keeping.
