I absolutely love it! The spoon is perfect for making roux. The trademark on the handle is also nice; complete with a fleur-de-lis. The cookbook is also a great primer for Cajun and Creole cooking and culture. It's loaded with all the recipes and roux making techniques you could want. It even came gift wrapped. I bought this for a friend's daughter who want something from Louisiana. There recipe book is great, but wad surprised Etouffee was not included in the recipes. The recipient is thrilled.

I purchased two spoons from Amazon for far less. I thought it was a mistake, so I purchased this one, thinking there would be a big difference in quality. There wasn't.

I really like this but I also like the cookbook that comes with it♥️😁👍🏾Money well spent!!!
