I had the exact same tray for approx 5 years and it started rusting. So we purchased this one which looks identical. It’s only been a few months and now this one is beginning to rust? Anyone else had this experience?

Had one for 2 years and the rack started to rust. Bought a new one a few weeks ago and the middle section of the flatware caddy has rust all along the bottom. So disappointed.

Is the drain pan/tray/board made of stainless steel?

The drain board is made of plastic, is about an eighth of an inch thick, and is gray.

My draining tray does not have any slat to it. Am I placing the rack incorrectly?

The feet of the dish rack curve upward. The draining tray sits on top of the upward part of the feet. The feet on the back are higher than those on the front, so there is a slant to it. There may be minor puddling of water in the tray, but most of the water will flow into the sink.

Does the utensil holder have holes at the bottom? Thanks!

Yes, it is divided into three parts. The two extreme have also each one a plastic device, you can keep it there or remove it, like a lid with holes, where you can insert your spoons, knives, forks, making it easy to be steady while drying. The middle division no, so you can put there the big kitchen knives and utensils used to cook, like a wooden spoon. So yes, on the bottom part there are little holes to allow the water draining.
