PARADOX Waterproof & Breathable Women's Rain Jacket

Hiked in the rain with this and it totally kept me dry. Nice cut and looks cute on too. It's a fitted cut so if you like a little more wiggle room or want to have a thick sweater underneath you might want to go a size up. Length is nice - covered most of my bum. Sleeves have velcro cuff so that you can adjust sleeve length - I'm short so that was nice. Nice pockets inside and out to keep things dry. There's a zipped chest pocket for your iphone or ipod with an opening for headphones. Hood can be cinched to keep your head dry and there's a little bit of a visor. Seams are sealed. Seems to be breathable - I didn't feel overly hot or sticky while wearing it but I was in cooler temperatures so not sure about warmer, humid climates. Good rain jacket and windbreaker. I'm 5'1" and 130 lbs. and medium was just right. Loved the plum color too.

I'm usually between a small and a medium, so I decided to get the (plum) jacket in a small. I was afraid the plum might look flashy/gaudy, but I will say now that it was a great choice! It's not super-fitted if that's how you like it, but loose enough to allow wearing a top and a thick sweater underneath. The torso is a tad loose and long, and covers my butt and then some. The plum shell (with a subtle matte print all over) and lining are both fairly thick for a rain jacket and well-stitched, so it's not "ultra-lightweight", if that's a concern for anyone - but it shouldn't be! The zippers sit flush with the fabric and are good quality. There are three outer pockets - 2 side and 1 chest (with zippers) - and two inside, attached to the lining (no zippers). The arms are wide, but the wrist opening can be adjusted with the attached Velcro strips. The hood is wide and deep, and can be adjusted with the attached drawstrings. The only con is that it doesn't come with its own carry-bag. But overall, it's a great quality lightweight-jacket for the price (under 20 bucks!). I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

I bought the small because of great deal. I'm 5' 3" 123 pounds, 34c bra, 39 hips, regular bum, not big not small not bubble. Fits over the middle of my bum. Waterproof: I held my arm under the shower with cold water. Stayed dry. This jacket will NOT keep you warm if cold rain. Layer: I can fit a t-shirt, very light shirt and a light weight Columbia jacket with NO room to spare. If you want a heavy sweater or more layers then order the medium or large. Can't say the amount of space between the sizes. Color: black with sorta light blueish dots. Works for my ward robe of gray, black and tans. Pocket: 3 zippers outside and two non-zippers on inside. Deep enough for snack bars or tissues or some folded up non essensial papers. Hood: I have a fairly large head and thick hair. The hoods comes over my glasses. Draw pulls to tighten. Measurements: from top of shoulder to wrist=25", chest front and back added together is 40"(that's not a lot) don't confuse with 34C" bra size, back of neck down to bottom of bum area 27", inside pockets are 10" deep. Reminder this is size small. Recap: Nice jacket. Remember NOT for warmth. You need a bigger size to fit heavy sweater of heavier jacket underneath. OR invest in expensive thin low temp base layers. I don't wear light weight rain gear to cold rain countries. Packable: packs up small. I put in a gallon size food bag with room to spare. I hope this help when making your decision to buy.

Product came exactly as described! I loved the plum color it gave a little pop in the dull rainy weather, but it's still a darker color so it's not obnoxious. It fit exactly as expected and has some breathing room so I'm able to fit a sweatshirt under when it's cold and it still looks good - not tight on the sweatshirt at all. This jacket is very light which is what I wanted so you can wear it in the summer but also when it's colder since it can fit another jacket underneath. I'm 5'9 and the medium fit very comfortably and wasn't too short both on my body length and also my arms. I love that it comes with drawstrings on the hood because the hood was a little large but I was able to tighten it no problem. I walked about 15 minutes to and from a building in this while it was raining and it repelled the rain very well, it is definitely waterproof! Overall I really liked this product and it came exactly as described, can't beat it for the price!

I searched long and hard for the perfect waterproof rain jacket to take on an Ireland vacation. This jacket is perfect in several ways. It is a quality jacket, just the right texture and size for my petite frame. The jacket falls to mid thigh and curves a little at the waist for a tailored appearance. The plum color is lovely and the jacket does not have a logo emblazoned all over it. The jacket washes beautifully - just make sure to follow instructions. I am absolutely thrilled with this product, in every way.

Bought a size small. Fit pretty much identical to the photo in length & width. I'm 5'9" for reference. It's really refreshing to have a jacket that is actually long enough for my arms. Took this to Hawaii for vacation. We landed in one of the worst rainstorms ever that lasted for a day+ and this held up really well. The hood is pretty big and deep, which is nice for keeping the rain off & easy to adjust to stay tight to your face for windy days. Completely waterproof. Breathability was ok, especially for the price. The zippered chest pocket was actually really handy. Whole thing packs up really small and light, so I would recommend it for any casual hikers.
