I’ve been using this supplement for a few weeks now, and I’m really pleased with the results so far. I purchased it mainly for liver support after reading about the benefits of milk thistle, especially when combined with artichoke and dandelion root — and this formula includes all three in one convenient capsule. The capsules are easy to swallow, completely plant-based, and don’t have any weird aftertaste. I take one capsule with food, and I’ve noticed a general improvement in digestion and less bloating, especially after heavier meals. Everyone in our family takes milk thistle and we have used this brand for a long time. There is no after taste with these, easy to swallow and I found the quality to be consistent. We use these as a liver support supplement. I give them to my dog as well. She is medium size dog and I give double dosage a few days prior and after she is vaccinated or gets flea/tick/heartworm preventive. All of us have had healthy liver results when doing blood work and for that I am grateful and believe this is part of the reason.

I've had some chronic myofacial pain in glutes and legs and I've found Flavinoids and flavolignins can really help you heal. Apparently, I had some fibrosis / extra clotting going on as I got older (i.e. 58 ish). Milk thistle extract is one of many you can take (silymarin is a bunch of flavolignins, I believe; I also take diosmin / hesperidin and some quercetin (stay below 500 mg or so daily / resveratrol; ORAC energy greens) and extra vitamin C. This regimen along with stretching and exercise reversed or is cutting down on my sitting pain / neuropathic pain in the legs and glutes (i.e. less "sciatica") and reduced fibrosis in the muscles/veins, etc. I also supplemented with enzymes nattokinase / serrapeptidase and lumbrokinase, too, taken between meals to help with possible fibrin (or other amyloid type deposits) in veins / tissues. This milk thistle extract is a good addition to the above substances as a source of favinoids. I do believe these promote healing and proper tissue remodeling / regeneration which may go awry as we age and don't heal properly without the correct supplementation. One thing for men to be aware of - silymarin might cause gymecomastia “man boobs” if used too long (Larger / tender) - so be aware. I was not compensated for this review.
