Perfect for reluctant readers
This is a very nice series for reluctant readers. The stories are fun and exciting. Children should read them in order. In fact, if they read the whole series, it is equivalent to reading a hefty chapter book, like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson, except it is broken into more bite-sized pieces for struggling readers. My fourth grade readers love this series so much, that I bought this book of 4 stores so we would have an extra copy of each book in our class library.

Highly recommend
We bought these books on the recommendation of a friend, and loved them. I have a boy who has struggled with reading. The large print in this book made it easy and more fun for him. I have another boy who doesn't usually love reading. He loves these books. I have a girl who loves reading everything, and unsurprisingly, she also loves them.I have recommended this book to several friends for their kids who are starting to read chapter books. They have all enjoyed them, and the kids ask for more. The stories are high interest with knights and dragons and trolls and fairies and witches. The characters are moral, kind, brave, not disrespecting their parents or talking ugly to each other.

Great first chapter book series for emerging readers
I love the large text and simple word and sentence structure of this book. This series is MUCH simpler than most beginner chapter books and personally, I think the text might also be simpler than a lot of the Level 2 "Step Into" readers. My 5yo is on the cusp of being able to read anything she wants, but right now, we need to work on her confidence. This was the second chapter book I read aloud to her. She was very interested in the story and wanted to keep reading every night. I was also able to get her to read the first couple of sentences of each chapter. She was very excited and proud to realize that she could read from a chapter book!I highly recommend this series for any child wanting to tackle that independent reading chapter book milestone!

amazing bridge from picture books to chapter books
My daughter (7) loves to read, but really hasn’t gotten into chapter books until these Wrenly books. In 8 weeks, she has read 11 chapter books! She loves the story and that the main characters (a boy and girl) are best friends even though he is a prince and she is a peasant. Every book has a new magical creature that is vaguely familiar to kids growing up with Harry Potter around them. Every single two-page spread has a picture, and I think this has been the real key to holding my daughter’s interest. If you have a reader who isn’t making the jump from picture books to chapter books, The Kingdom of Wrenly is an amazing bridge between the two!

Transformational learning tool
These books add rich language and imagery to our class reading block as well as DEAR time (drop everything and read). I teach students with Autism and intellectual difficulties and they are loving the story line. It has enabled them to experience more complex vocabulary and understand the importance of looking beyond outward appearances when determining friendships. We are on the second book and they even made connections between this book and a prior series we finished by another author.

Good series for both boys and girls
Good series for both boys and girls! Great story line and easy to read. These books give children with weak reading skills a confidence boost. I have recommended them to some teachers at my children's elementary school.

They are easy to read and engaging
This not very popular series is a hit with my almost 8yr old. She will sneak a chapter in almost every night after we've put her to bed. They are easy to read and engaging. We've tried many chapter books before and this series is hands down her favorite. I also like that it is very age appropriate without being too childish or involving older kid concepts that I'm not ready to introduce to my child. This hard cover book itself with 4 in one is a great deal and very nice quality as well.

Wonderful Page-Turner! (And, not as scary as Magic Tree House)
This is an engaging, well-written, delightful story! Actually, all of them are great! My 7 year-old and 5 year-old (girl and boy, respectively) love these stories equally! Go ahead and get the set. Specifically, what my kids appreciate is that there isn't that somewhat scary element. For example, they got too nervous to read any more Magic Tree House books. The stories are definitely page turners... and not just for the wee ones! Oh, and every page has a picture so there is a great balance between words and imagery. Enjoy! Thanks Jordan Quinn![...] Thank you

Great series for early elementary
I bought this for my son in Grade 2 and he is really pleased with the books. He really enjoys series and he is excited that there are more books to read when he finishes the fourth one in this set. The map was a nice bonus and he liked being able to show me where the different characters live and where they go on their adventures.

If you like Dragon Masters series.... you'll like this!
Excellent kids series, good clean fun adventure (not scary at all, FYI). Kids love the big Kingdom map. Easy to read and the chapters are a nice length.
