I was really looking forward to this. It seemed like a good deal at the time, but when I arrived, installed it and tried to turn it on, literally nothing happened. I tried many different things, like re plugging the wires, unplugging and replugging several times and much more, but nothing made any difference. I finally unplugged it and tried a different power supply, and surprise surprise, it worked perfectly fine.Do not take the risk and purchase this, it is simply not worth it, especially since you have to pay for return shipping.

The new MWE series is quickly earning a great reputation. Efficiency at low loads is near Platinum levels, and it only looses about 2% when pushed to its limits. Outstanding efficiency for a Gold Certified power supply. Fan is dead silent and higher quality than standard units. All voltage regulation, protection, ripple, etc. from extensive reviews have been stellar. Modular cabling is good quality and flexible, and just long enough for tall cases. There are already rebates for these models which makes them a great deal. I purchased the 750 watt full modular over a comparable Seasonic, and that says something. I honestly can't find anything not to like except that the warranty is 5 years, not 7 or more. I will update my review if I ever have a problem with it.

first one was DOA and number 2 is DOA also. Looked to their web site for support and many features like tech support chat are disabled. Will return again and move on to another company.

I got the first, and the power supply was DOA. Not only that, when I tried to reinstall my old power supply with the new power supply's cords to test, the drivers didn't work! Who knows how bad the cables are.Returned and asked for a second. Another DOA? That's... unlikely. Did the pin test, and the fan didn't turn on. Yup, this power supply is definitely bad.There are no in-between reviews. If you're lucky, you'll get a good one, but you're almost equally as likely to get a dud.

Very quiet as it wasn't running, Very energy efficient , didn't use any because it is inoperable. , easy to instal and remove know bothbecasue t is defective from the factoryI ordered another one from customer service. I will let you know how that works out.

I had this PS for just over 30 days. Turned on maybe 5 times , went to start the computer on, and nothing happened. Followed it to the 12volt cpu connection. I won’t buy another one of these again.

Purchased the PSU in March 2020 for a primarily home NAS build. Anyone who understands that use case understands that this requires EXTREMELY low power consumption but 24/7 uptime. I wanted to over provision the PSU in the event that I use the server for other uses such as a gaming VM. However after only a couple months of very light NAS use, I woke up one morning to find the server hard down. Tried a different power source, different cables... nothing until I replaced the PSU itself with a spare I had for another build. Sure enough it powered right back on confirming the PSU from cooler master is junk. The PSU was always connected to an uninterrupted power supply as well so there is zero chance that there was any weird surge or something to fry the PSU. It is simply very poorly built. Which likely is the reasoning for the low cost. There is a reason there are so many terrible reviews. This is a TERRIBLE product. DO NOT BUY. Even if you have to spend an extra $10-$20 it will be well worth saving yourself the inevitable headache that will accompany having to replace the product with another cheap refurb from cooler master when you are forced to RMA the product within the 5 year window. Only bright side is you will get plenty of RMA practice almost immediately.

Would not recommend this product would not even power on my pc after install and as a result will be sending it back! Steer clear from this product to many issues.

Fuente de mala calidad.Cambié mi fuente de poder yeyian de 650w por la de 850watts gold. Ya que quería tener una fuente de confianza para mi PC.Me duró 1 mes y medio. El día de hoy al encender mi equipo, tronó un chispazo y la computadora ya no encendía.Afortunadamente probé con mi fuente anterior y pude comprobar que todo mi equipo está bien y la defectuosa era la fuente, una lástima ya que soy muy fan de la marca cooler master.

Qué gran decepción tuve con esta fuente, la compré para mejorar la PSU que tiene actualmente mi equipo y solamente sirvió para descomponerme dos discos duros, de entrada no venía empaquetada como si fuera nueva, no venía con el plástico envolviendo la caja y los cables no venían enrollados como normalmente vienen los productos nuevos, después de varios intentos, no pude echar a andar mi PC, cuando volví a poner mi fuente anterior, me di cuenta que se habían descompuesto 2 discos duros, uno de 2.5 y otro de 3.5, estuve revisando muchos videos de la misma fuente y me di cuenta que fue por que no traía los cables correctos de alimentación para los discos duros, en los videos venían unos cables de 5 pines y con la fuente que compré no venía ninguno de ese tipo, venían unos de 6 pines que van de PCIE y del otro extremo tienen la conexión a HDD, además revisando los cables más a detalle, algunos de ellos venían con suciedad, signo de que no eran nuevos, por lo que estoy seguro de que me enviaron una fuente usada, ahora quien me va a pagar mis discos duros que se dañaron...

Llego antes de lo estimado, tenia miedo por la cantidad de comentarios donde decían que llegaba dañada pero nada que ver, me llego antes de lo estimado y funciona a la perfección, hice la prueba de usar un clip en el cable CPU para ver si encendía además de usar un multímetro y arranco perfectamente y sin problemas, la recomiendo mucho es muy silenciosa incluso podría decir que no se percibe cuando esta encendida, en mi caso compre la de 850w V2, tiene una excelente calidad desde el momento en que la abres, lo único malo que le mire es que los cables son normales, no tiene ningún cable recubierto con tela o alguna protección extra y para su precio merecía tener algo así al menos en el cable de 24 pines, es algo estético pero se exige que se haga por el precio, sin dudarlo cómprenla si van a armar una PC poderosa.

I've always used Corsair or Coolermaster, for my most recent build I went with Coolermaster, 750w Gold. it ran my PC fine for six months plugged into a surge protector. last week while gaming my video card in silent mode got up to 78c, my power supply popped and my pc shut down. ever since then it reboots under load, I tested it in my stream pc and same issue with different components, I tested a new power supply in my gaming pc and no crashes all day. i've submitted a RMA request as it's under Warranty for five more years, my previous Corsair Power Supply, I sent back the PSU and they sent me a new one, but the CM website says send back the power supply plus all cable as no replacement cables with be sent back with the unit, so idk if they are going to try and repair mine, but I Hope not. I am just glad nothing else in my PC dead when the power supply went as it was a huge investment
