Well it does remove enamel nail polish it might help remove gloss from vinyl but you don't say what paint it is , have you tried a razor paint remover and paint remover liquid. Good luck.

Works well but bottle needs improving

As a whole this product worked well, but the shape of the bottle means it constantly falls over. I found out the hard way. Taking off nails is fiddly enough without having to constantly screw and unscrew the cap. I won’t be buying again.

Removed false nails with ease, had to use a few times to fully get rid of the nails. If used make sure that oil is present to heal any damage to nails.
