Very Good Quality! Must learn a "new" way to use a walker... big psychological BOOST!
The quality of this walker is really very good for the price point. It reminds me of a good quality baby jogging stroller in its design. The assembly instructions need to be more clear. The 1st step is not specific as to what screws to use. The 2 screws that do not have nuts on them are the ones you use. A picture of the screw and a close up of where to insert it would be better. Overall better pictures and clarification is needed. As for stability issues that a number of reviewers suggest, my answer would be that the user has to learn a new way of using this walker. You cannot lean on it for support. You must use it to assist. If it is falling over it is because you are "riding" it. If you need that type of support, then this is NOT the product for you. You do not lean on traditional walkers for support, either. They assist you. On this upright walker, if you lean your weight on the arm rest, it is unstable. Especially when turning! Also, when turning in a smaller space, do not use your arms to turn the walker. If you lead with your feet i.e. move them where you want to go, your arms and the walker will follow. If you lead with your arms, you then tend to lean on the walker with your feet not in an ideal position. It just takes a little practice to learn a new way to use a walker, but the biggest (and it is big!) benefit is that SLIGHT adjustment of hand position for the user moves the head and shoulders into a more upright position. The slight change in your perception is a huge psychological boost. It folds up very easy and compact for storage & travel. You feel upright again! Lastly, yes! It will work for a person under 5 feet tall. The user of this walker is 4' 10" but walking taller!

Very sturdy and easy to set up.
The setup is straight forward and it is very well built. It rolls very easily and navigates easily. Well designed and folds easily. I got this for my wife, but since I am around 275, I found it supports my weight without any indication of weakness. Height adjustment is easy and the additional support bolts when you get the right height are a great touch. It doesn't have a cane holder but doesn't mention it in the instructions. Easy to figure out though.

Best walker once set up but read on for a few tips
It is a great, sturdy, and rugged walker if you follow a few hints in setting it up and folding for storage: 1.) Have someone hold it, lay it down, or lean it against something before trying to unfold the back, locked legs. It cannot be free standing with back wheels folded in. These back wheels are long, so leave them unfolded unless you need to fold them in for transport or limited storage. Otherwise, like me, I have limited space so I lean it angled against a wall with the front rotating wheels turned sideways so that it doesn't move if back if locked wheels are folded up. 2.) After unfolding back legs and pushing seat down, make sure seat is locked down before walking, or seat will slide up and walker will narrow in on you while walking, causing instability. **The seat is easily locked once pushed all the way down by grabbing both hand grip handles and pushing them inward together laterally from the outside towards the center until it "clicks".** 3.) This has big wheels, but it's not as easy to roll forward over any bumps or up over any floor height changes as a regular walker. This is because the standup walker with an arm rest driving base doesn't distribute as much weight directly over the front, it allows you to stand straight, and delivers the weight more evenly between the hips & pelvis and arms & neck. **So, carefully cross raises in the floor until you get used to it.** This is why this walker works so well for me with chronic neck and low back issues. I'm not slouched over, straining my low back, and not applying so much weight on my arms and neck. Also, this is a sturdy walker that is tall, so it is not light to manipulate to fold and unfold, it may be better to leave unfolded if you have about 25" depth (back to front of wheels) X 40" height (floor to top of armrests) of room for storage. It can be wider with seat locked, or pushed in together which makes it an estimated 12-24" difference. When pushed in, it becomes 6-12" taller (estimated). Once you easily master the set up which can be done by yourself, it is a great walker that is well built for a fair price.

Great stand up walker.
Shipped fast. Received in great condition. Instructions simple and easy to follow even for two 70 year old instruction challenged people. Solid metal construction. Well built. Stable when walking. Thank you for an affordable walker that helps me stand straighter with my scoliosis and degenerative disc disease and stabilizes my Igor walk from my parkinson's disease. I appreciate you so very much ๐ค.

HOW TO SET THE PARKING BRAKE.
I agree with previous reviews that the directions are very poor, verbally and pictorially. However, it is not difficult to assemble if you have some talent in that way. You have to figure out where the correct fastening screws are to be placed. I had particular difficulty setting the brakes to park to accommodate sitting. Once you know it's easy...lift forward slightly and push. One criticism I read concerned the brake cable getting caught on things, so I just slipped the cable behind the screw handle on the upright columns . This keeps them tucked in and it does not effect the braking mechanism in anyway. I bought this for my 91year old husband's birthday next month mainly for when we are outside, so I can't comment on maneuverability as yet. It does fold up nicely and could be placed in a closet. Seems to be well made. I'll write another review after he has tried it.

Great product
This product is as described! It is a well built & stable upright walker. I only have an issue with my small 1/2 bath as the door is too small for the walker to fit thru (wish the walker was 2 inches less in width). My 84+ year old mother broke her hip & collar bone and then during rehab fell with the 4-prong walker that they were using there. The upright walker made her rehab easier & got her back on track for healing and maneuverability.

She loves it
For the last 11 months my wife has loved this walker which allows her to stand straighter and still rest her arms for support as needed. Well one of the arm rests broke, so I contacted Oasis provided order number and date from my Amazon orders page, they responded asking for picture of the broken part and a shipping address. That was all I needed to do now today just a few days after sending pictures and address the parts arrived. So happy to see them stand behind their product. Would buy again from this supplier. 5 stars for good product and good warranty support. Thanks ๐๐ผ

for me not so great
I cannot use it becuase for me it's extermly difficult to put together. I cannot find nuts that were supposed to come with it. I am old which is why i need it and i cannot bend over to look through all of the packing to find the bolts if they are even there. The packing around small parts was extremly difficult for me to remove, it's taped and my fingers don't work very well and it was so small, so to get my fingers into the card board and tape i would cut my skin open. Old people have paper thin skin and mine tears with the slitest of pressure. I ordered this for delivery because i cannot walk into a store to purchase one because i cannot walk without a walker, I cannot lift it, it's very heavy for me. The Amazon driver was kind enough to put it inside my doorway for me so I used my office chair to get to it to put it togther and now i cant roll away from it because of all of the packaging. DO NOT try to put this togther yourself call a neighbor or a friend if you have those types of people in your life that can help you with it. If it's not put together correctly you will definatly take a fall that you will never recover from. I do not have anyone to help me put it together i dont even have anyone to take it to the curb for the garbage collector. It may be a fine great wonderfull tool for me if assembly were not a factor. I understand that there is no way for the manufacturer to ship it fully assembled but there has to be a better way than this so for now, as it stands I could never ever reccomend this for anyone who does not have major assistance with a completly able bodied person to get it in the front door and assemble it for you.
