It worked. Time will tell.
Used this to re-attach the hooks on a pair of broken cuff links for a friend. Usual jewelry solder requires a torch. Not good for plated items. I used a 30W solder iron. Wiped excess rosin away. Waited a couple of hours and did a slight stress. Test. Seemed to hold. Good so far.
