When I first tested it, I only had a few inches of water in a 55 gallon drum and it wouldn't work but then I filled the drum to capacity and it was great. I left it to pump and when I came back it had stopped, not sure why but I started it again and was able to step away again and let the rest pump out. I had to manually finish off the last couple of inches but very pleased with how it worked. This is not a heavy duty pump so if you want something you can leave out in the elements indefinitely, this may not be a good choice for you but it works as described.

Only pump I can find that will pump chlorine and not break down in a week. They generally last about six months

Great pump. Used it to pump bleach for my pressure washing company. First one I bought lasted almost 4 years. Bought a second one thinking that it may not last but just opened it after the first one made its 3 1/2 year run. Great product.

The siphon pump works great! I was able to get a siphon going in three pumps of the unit, and the flow rate was fantastic! The break-down of the device is very simple and stores in such a small area. Works as a manual pump for the few times you need to get the liquid higher than your barrel. If I ever need another pump or a friend needs one, I am going with Tera Pumps!
