PAY ATTENTION!! Best air popper when used CORRECTLY
4. 8 stars. I took .2 off for needing to melt butter in a dedicated container in your microwave. So, ignore the included butter melter. Otherwise my review will agree with all the points brought up by other positive reviews. Let me address some of the negative comments. Lack of an on/off switch. That bothers you? Really? Face palm. What is your malfunction? This a non issue if your IQ is above room temperature.Burning/melting/warping of the lid. It gets VERY hot...duh!! So, never ever leave the appliance once it starts popping. Do NOT keep it running just to try and pop any "Old Maids". Unplug the popper right away and let the whole thing cool down. Do NOT remove the lid while cooling.

Perfect Popper
We love air popped popcorn with fresh melted butter and salt! No microwave popcorn could compare plus why eat all the additives. Easy to use and great price. Very few unpopped kernels. We love our air popper!

Presto 04863 Poplite Hot Air Popcorn Popper, Red
I was never a fan of popcorn but searching for a good snack other than chips or cookies pointed to popcorn. I tried jeffypop stove top long time ago while recently microwave bags which I find unforgiving burning it. So after more research air popcorn poppers looked best choice and this brand gave the best results. I bought some Market Pantry at Target and gave this machine a try, COOL! Watching it pop the corn and how we'll it worked must say this is it. The popcorn wasn't burned and had a try pop corn clean taste. The butter melting cup works but if using chilled butter it's best to cut into small squares then teaspoon size cubes so it all melts. A very few corns are left not popped but never had this few. Was thinking of a Dash but videos showed both models threw kernels all over but this rarely did. This cook make me a regular popcorn eater during the games

I love this!!!
I love this! I replaced my old popper (same brand) and was so impressed with the improvements. The new feet keep the popper from rotating while popping. It is a lot sturdier and the cord keeper is very handy. Also love the color! And…the popped kernels were huge!!! Bigger than any in my old popper. Would definitely buy again!

Good Popper, unfortunate team colors
A simple design, basically unchanged since the 1980s. Pops like a popper should. The Green Bay Packers color-scheme makes me want to spit on the ground during the NFL season, but it's perfect the other 34 weeks of the year. Maybe cheese heads can enjoy it year round? It doesn't have a power switch. I think that's fine, but it spooks my kids a bit.

Overheating problems.
Have not been pleasantly surprised by this popcorn popper so far. The instructions say to not overfill it, and they mean that it will overheat if you overfill it even a little. That said, when the popper is loaded as per the instructions, it works for 2 or 3 batches, and the maker shuts off due to overheating, and won't resume until it is sufficiently cool--but that doesn't mean it will be ready for a complete batch when it resumes!Previous Presto poppers could be filled to the same level without problems. Not impressed. My experience with this popper has me looking for alternatives for when this bites the dust.

MKes good popcorn!
It's a nice air popper. It makes popcorn fast and just about all of the kernels pop. The only thing I don't like is that the cord holder is too small for the length of cord that has to go around it, and the cord keeps wanting to unwind and fall off. But that's a minor complaint.
