I need another ash pan/ charcoal pan where can I order

No there is no replacement available, but a cheap fix for the rusted out ash pan can be found at Walmart, unfortunately Amazon won't let me post a picture, but this I what to look fir. Expert Grill 13.2inch x 9.2inch Steel Barbecue Grill Tray Topper It will fit over the rusted spot, not beautiful but functional

What are the differences in the models, ec, ac, and ax with same model number

Difference between CD1824EC and CD1824AC: 1. CD1824EC has 368 sq. in. cooking grates and 106 sq. in. warming rack; 2. CD1824AC has 393 sq. in. cooking grates and 205 sq. in. warming rack. Difference between CD1824AX and CD1824AC: CD1824AC has a grill cover. Hope it helps. :)

I do not understand how the recomended cover will fit perfectly the grill with the chimney on top ? can it be removed ?

It just cover the whole grill. It is just like a drape, covers the whole grill.
