This book is keepsake-quality presentation, filled with the beauty of nature in wonderful detail, yet still at a great level for a young child to be able to understand sufficiently. We bought this for our homeschool morning read and kids and I are all captured by wonder reading this nature book together.

A beautiful book; excellent quality all round with beautiful paper, illustrations and writing. Each page is a wonderful little snippet of a part of nature and it has a nice balance between the not having too much information but enough for kids (and adults) to enrich their knowledge and love for the things in nature we take for granted. I’m learning many new things myself and look forward to reading this with my kids before we explore more outdoors as the spring comes in. We found some fish eggs in the local lake and I came home to find a page on it in the book :) A nice way to bring nature to life and develop a love and understanding of it with our children. Would definitely recommend

EVERY HOUSE NEED THIS BOOK, REALLY BEAUTIFUL AND IT CONTAINS A LOT OF INFORMATION

Yes, I do encourage a slower pace of life and the art of noticing things around you, but what I love most about this book is the micro learning! Digesting small tidbits of information is what makes learning something new feel manageable, attainable and memorable. The illustrations are beautiful, but what's more impressive is that the author takes no more than two picture-filled pages to instill more knowledge about an everyday topic in nature. Even I learned something that I didn't know before. It's a calming book to flip through, like unwinding with a magazine and drink in hand. You get lost in it in the most comforting way. The language is simple and airy, like prose poetry or watercolors in a sunroom. Great resource for homeschooling and nature unit studies, despite that typo raving in the reviews.
